07.01.2022 it took all winter, but I can finally say I made a batch of cups. and learnt a whole bunch of skills. how to make slip cast molds, how to not spill setting plaster everywhere (!). how to be patient with setting slip, and how being impatient ruins the piece. how reading instructions and watching 100s of videos can only get you so far, trying is the best teacher. how pieces can still end up with a unique personality even when using a mold. when things are done by hand at every step, tiny differences in pressure, time, mood and technique, contribute to the individual characteristics of each piece. I like something about every one of these cups, they taught me a lot

07.01.2022 yesterday I took a little leap and had the very first professional photo shoot for The Eclective. it was a beautiful winter's day, which started with close up shots in the morning sun, and ended in a dreamy field with some lovely people and golden light. so thankful for friends who rocked it at incredibly short notice, and the lovely @woodypearphotography who generously added her own gold to every shot.
