Continuing to break the poverty cycle through training those who need employment. New hours are 9am-2.30pm. 16.01.2022 Over the next few weeks I am going to introduce you to the board members of Experience Communities. The first is our Chair Person Eloise Scherer - I am passionate about mission, supporting communities through mission and leaders who are doing mission. I feel privileged to be on the board of Experience Communities, i believe in what it aims to achieve and its ability to change lives.... My hope is that we can undertake more projects that encompass encouraging missional leaders and communities to step out in faith to listen to the needs and change the lives and hearts of the people around them. Eloise is married to Josh who is the minister in Gawler Parish and Mum to 2 beautiful daughters.

Your passions:- I love seeing people achieve their goals either personally or professionally and love being on their team when this happens.... Why you are on the board I love that I can be a part of such a diverse opportunity to support community groups who want to improve their community. I am so honoured that my administration background can assist the board achieve great things. Your hope for the future My hope is that there will be an influx of community groups who realise that we are here, and we would love to see more people achieve great success in their professional and personal lives through the experience communities. And any other personal stuff you don’t mind the world knowing. I have a heart for love and want to show the world that with love and hard work anything can be achieved.

15.01.2022 Hi all sorry it has been so long but new things are happening. We have a Coffee Cart at Broadview Uniting Church! Jolo is the Pastor heading up this ministry that is reaching young people in our community. We are following the same experience cafe model just in a new place. We have a coffee cart at the Enfield community centre every Monday morning and our Coffee cart is ready to take on other ministry opportunities. You will see more post soon. Thanks for your support.

12.01.2022 Hey faithful followers I am very excited to share with you that the Experience Cafe movement is moving forward so much so that instead of being on the ground running one cafe I am the director of Experience Communities which is a not for profit that assists churches and community groups to engage in Social enterprise that breaks the poverty cycle for the unemployed. Three Cafes now run under this initiative. Each cafe is self supporting reaching their community with recourses and great coffee. Playdate Cafe, in Hoppers Crossing Melbourne run by Fiona, Experience Cafe, Clifton Street Blair Athol Adelaide run by Sophie and the original CitySoul Cafe run by the CitySoul Unting Church. I am so honoured to know these faithful people of God.

07.01.2022 Let me introduce Jill Wilson founding board member and recently retired chair person: My passions are to see young people gain the skills to find meaningful work and dignity. I am also involved with refugees through STTARS and together with my husband Richard we support a number of families in Africa to gain an education and to become self-supporting.... We are very much involved with our 6 adult children and our 11 grandchildren.

They are still looking to provide training and volunteer experience to those seeking employment. 05.01.2022 Hey I am needing some volunteers for the show 28 August -8 Sept. any level of skill is welcome. We promise real cafe experience and and that everyone’s skills will go up a level (we make lots of coffee!) the shift are 6am-1pm or 1pm-8pm. Every volunteer will get into the show free the day they volunteer and will be given a free meal during their shifts. Please feel free to pass this onto people you think are interested they can message me. Position fill quickly so first in will get the shift.
