24.01.2022 Amazing what can be achieved with MIS (keyhole surgery). Traditional hallux valgus correction and MIS lesser hammer toe (2-4) correction 6 weeks post op. Note residual swelling around great MTPJ.... this can persist for some months.

20.01.2022 It was both a privilege and an honor to have been involved in a recent charity mission in Lebanon with an esteemed team of orthopaedic surgeons and myself as a podiatric surgeon. We were able to deliver surgical care to a range of poverty stricken individuals, including a young girl with bilateral club foot. On the way home now, and back to the routine next week. Remember life is not always about taking, there is also great pleasure in giving.

11.01.2022 Middle aged female with ongoing arthritic pain of the great toe joint, limiting her ability to exercise. This clean up should get her moving.

09.01.2022 30 year old female with chronic tibial sesamoidal pain. Imaging confirmed unresolving fracture which had attempted management with orthotics, CAM walker, and below knee cast for non weight bearing, amongst other measures. All over many months. Final solution was surgical excision.

06.01.2022 67 year old with diabetes. Recurrent sub 5th MTP joint ulceration and subsequent infection. After multiple hospital admissions, decision to resect 5th metatarsal head taken. Has not had any issues since... 12 months post op now.

02.01.2022 Thankyou PodMedEd for the invitation to present and facilitate a CPD event on management of common fractures commonly seen in Podiatric practice. It was also great to have specialist radiologists Dr. Beng Tan and Dr. Gaurav Gupta present on imaging considerations in foot and ankle fractures, as well as ACPS registrar Nick Ryan with a case study. Workshop went well, and the vibe was amazing.
