25.01.2022 Graduation Day 2020



19.01.2022 The 2020 Yarrabee Creative Writing Competition is open to all students in Year 7-10. The theme this year is "Lost" - you can write any imaginative story you wish, as long as it links to this theme in some way. For Stage 4 (Year 7-8) students, the word limit is 800 words. The first prize will be a $50 gift voucher to Harry Harthog, and the runner up will receive a book pack. ... For Stage 5 (Year 9-10) students, the word limit is 1000 words. The first prize will be a $50 gift voucher to Harry Harthog, and the runner up will receive a book pack. An external judge will decide on the final winners from a shortlist. The judge will be assessing the stories on their creativity, fluency and language. So get writing!

02.01.2022 More recognition of some of our wonderful Class of 2020 students who received special awards at their Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 12 November. School Captain Alex Dimitrov was awarded the E.G. Bell Prize for his outstanding contribution to the school showcasing leadership, initiative and commitment and in recognition of the many events and activities at which Alex represented The Forest High School. Vice Captain Johnson Ly was awarded the F.W. Bailey Prize which is given ...to a Year 12 student who has demonstrated exemplary peer leadership and consistently demonstrated the school's core values of Respect, Responsibility and Personal Best. Cameron Taylor was awarded The Northern Beaches Hospital Award for Citizenship in recognition of his positive attitude and participation in social services at the school as well as extra-curricular activities and engagement with the community outside the school.
