03.01.2022 As many of you may have seen the Devonport Show has been cancelled. This was an extremely difficult decision for the Executive committee to make as we have bee...n running for 108 years. But with the massive costs of running the show and the lack of money and support have left us with no other option. Below is a copy of the Press Release. But the Family Concert with the WOLFE BROTHERS and the BATTLE OF THE BANDS is still on. We are working hard to make this event the best we can. Tickets are on sale now online at Devonport Tickets and for sale at the show office. Its going to be a great event. Keep an eye out for further details. The Devonport Agricultural and Pastoral Society Inc. (DAPS) announces with great disappointment that it has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the 2017 Devonport Show. This decision was fully supported by the Executive of DAPS and only made after much soul-searching and consideration of various options and alternatives as to how the Devonport Show could operate this year. DAPS has to take into account the financial impost of running the Show, whilst balancing the interest of its members and other stakeholders. However, the lack of both commercial and local community support left the Executive with no choice but the most unpalatable to call off this years show.
