23.01.2022 If you’re looking to jazz up your entertaining areas this summer, why not do it with petal-packed petunias. They’re perfect for growing in pots on a sunny patio or balcony. Create a Christmas inspired display with red and white petunias or bring seaside vibes to your garden with masses of Petunia ‘Blue’ flowers in deep purple-blue shades. We also love the spreading varieties which look gorgeous cascading from hanging baskets or planted on mass to form a beautiful ground cover. . Photo and varieties Oasis Horticulture Pty Ltd

09.01.2022 It’s #tomatoseason! If you’re short on space why not grow a bumper crop in pots. Look out for compact varieties that are tailor made for small spaces. We love Tomato ‘Pot Tom’, a bushy variety that produces tasty clusters of medium size fruit on a bush just 1 metre tall or ‘Tumbler Red’ which boasts a big crop of yummy cherry tomatoes on a cascading bush that’s perfect for pots and hanging baskets. For big pots you can go past Tomato ‘Sweet Heart’ with lovable heart shaped tom’s. . Photo and varieties Oasis Horticulture Pty Ltd

07.01.2022 If homegrown cucumbers are on your must have summer veggie list this season but you’ve got limited space then a) grow them vertically & yes even in larger pots or planters and b) choose a variety like Cucumber ‘Patio Snack’ - it’s short vine branches means it won’t take over your garden or get out of hand BUT it’s still a heavy cropper Floriana

02.01.2022 Blueberries are one of nature’s superfoods; sweet, plump and jam packed with antioxidants. We love Blueberry ‘Kisses’, with an abundance of big, sweet blueberries that you can pick and eat straight from your backyard for months. It also boasts lush evergreen foliage, coloured new growth and showy flowers. It grows to just 1 metre tall, so it makes a lovely low evergreen hedge or fruiting border. We also love ‘Burst’, which produces big, firm, sweet blueberries that you and the kids will love. . Beautiful pic The Garden Clinic
