19.01.2022 Great news! We'll open up again slowly after some crazy month battling COVID-19. Announcing open events: Friday 9th October 5pm - 11pm Saturday 24th October 11am - 5pm... We are allowed to have 75 people in the hall, so first come first serve. If we reach capacity you might have to wait a short time until others vacate the premises. If the weather allows on the 24th we will open up the beergarden. There will be food and the bar is open. Looking forward to seeing you all at The Club after such a long break. The Management Committee

19.01.2022 Dear Friends of the German Club! This has been a very unsettling time for many of us, in particular since Germany has gone into lockdown. While we worry about our own elderly family members, we need to take all measures to keep the most vulnerable people amongst us safe during the Coronavirus (Covid - 19) Crisis. Hence, the Management Committee has decided to cancel the Mini Schtzenfest 2020. ... Our members and any visitor who comes to our club are very dear to us and we will not take a chance and will do our little part in containing the outbreak. Any tickets that have been purchased through Trybooking will be reimbursed fully as soon as possible! Please make sure to keep up to date with any other events we have coming up, as they will most likely be affected as well. We will make any decisions in accordance with the recommendations given to us by Government and Health Authorities. The Management Committee We hope you are and will continue to be in good health and spirits during these trying times!

We will be open on the 21st and 28th of February from 5.30 - 10 pm Please join us for some German atmosphere at our new club house. The Bar will be open with light warm meals available. 13.01.2022 FRIDAY and a Baumkuchen Recipe - What a special German cake! I personally dont know any bakery in the USA that makes this cake. I found an authentic recipe with a video and step by step instructions. Maybe yhis is the cake you always wanted to make! #germanbaumkuchen

This is a rare opportunity to purchase some great glasses, steins and other memorabilia from the good old time! The bar will be open and there will be a sausage sizzle. 04.01.2022 Der German Club wünscht allen Mitgliedern, Freunden und Unterstützern ein Frohes Neues Jahr. 2021 wird mit Sicherheit wieder ein aufregendes Jahr. Wir hoffen, dass wir euch einen monatlichen Event anbieten können, die Planung für das Schützenfest wird im Januar beginnen, das neue Clubhaus wird weiter verschönert und, unter anderem, mit einer neuen Bar versehen, und es wird einige Verbesserungen hinsichtlich der Kommunikation geben. Das Jahr ist jung, bitte lasst uns wissen, ...was ihr euch wünscht. Wir freuen uns auf euer Feedback und auf einen positiven Start ins Jahr 2021. The German Club would like to wish all its members, friends and supporters a very Happy New Year. 2021 will be an exciting year for us. We hope to be able to offer a monthly event, planings for the Schützenfest will commence in January, the clubhouse will get a new bar and we will work on improving communication. The year has just begun so please tell us what you'd like to see us focus on. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all a positive start into 2021.
