18.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: With the current situation regarding the COVID-19 virus we would like to reassure all customers that at this stage we are still operating as normal. We are taking this situation very seriously and are keeping up to date with all the updates coming from the Department of health and Human services. With all of this in mind we have put in extra safety precautions in place to keep all customers and our staff members as safe as possible.... They are the following: - All equipment and surfaces have and will be sanitised and cleaned on a regular basis - All surfaces will be sanitised extra in between parties - All sporting bibs and tea towels will be washed in anti bacterial washing liquid - Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed throughout the venue - Anti bacterial hand soap is in all bathrooms. If you are expected to visit The Glowzone we ask that you please do the following: - Please do not attend the centre if you are experiencing flu like symptoms, cold, cough or sore throat - Sanitise or wash hands once youve entered the centre - Wash your hands after playing the sports before you sit down to eat - If you bring drink bottles, please dont share them with anyone else - Please refrain from high fives or shaking hands during or after the game If you have anymore concerns or questions in regards to a booking you may have with us over the next couple of weeks. 14.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Dear Glowzone customers, Unfortunately given the most recent announcement regarding the return to Stage 3 lockdown in Metropolitan Melbourne, we have once again been forced to close our doors as of 11:59PM Wednesday 8th July.... For customers who have rebooked parties in the upcoming weeks/months please rest assured that all booking details remain on file and we will honour bookings and deposits received and will be re-booking parties/events for a 15 month window once we can reopen the facility. We will continue to update all customers with information regarding us being able to re-open the facility and the particulars of when we can take bookings and reschedule re-bookings. Our competition to win a free party in prior posts will be put on hold for now and we will start it up again in the weeks to come! 09.01.2022 Dear Glowzone Customers, As a small business our focus is on helping to protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers, suppliers and local community. We know that while hosting childrens birthday parties continues to be an important part of celebrating with family and friends, we are also aware of the difficulties hosting such events presents. The most recent update from the Prime Minister and Premier focused on the limiting of indoor social gatherings to unde...r 100 people and the importance of social distancing. We are taking all updates of this virus very seriously and we are doing everything we can to prevent the spread of it in our centre. We are doing the following to ensure everyone is as safe as possible: Guests of the party and families hosting parties have sole use of the 1500sqm GlowZone facility. We're adhering to a no handshakes, no high-fives, no hugs policy... which is hard because the kids love our staff so much. Increasing our already rigorous sanitising schedule of all equipment and kitchen facilities There is no contact with any of our sports or disco parties Placing extra signage around the facilities to remind adults and children how they stop the spreading of germs. All food, drinks and cake is prepared is by the host parents, none of our staff handle the food. We dont provide any utensils for food, cake etc so all utensils used can be disposed off immediately. Extra space created upstairs in the cafe for parents to adhere with the social distancing regulations. All staff have completed the COVID-19 Infection control training provided by the Department of Health Your support is greatly appreciated during this difficult time!

With the most recent update of the Victoria Lockdown announced yesterday, the GlowZone will be forced to close due to government regulations now in place. As a locally owned and operated business we understand that many Australians like us are now facing an uncertain future and we have no choice but to follow guidelines and advice. Like many small business owners, we n...ow have a dedicated group of young local employees who are now without jobs. Our priority is to help our employees and our customers as best we can. While the news is devastating, we are committed to continuing to provide the high quality of service and helping young people and families celebrate their birthdays once we are given the all clear to do so.
