22.01.2022 ***How are you helping your child get school ready?*** The Hills Learning Centre will be kicking off Term 3 with free trial lessons for all School Readiness pre-schoolers. As part of this introductory offer we will be also offering a free school readiness screener for all new pre-schoolers. Our Leap Ahead - School Readiness course is open to students aged 3-5. Our fun and educational program is facilitated by fully qualified and experienced infants teachers. It aims to equip ...youngsters with early literacy and numeracy, social and organisational skills needed to make a successful start to Kindergarten! 22.01.2022 Ready for Yellow Week! Are you?? Come dressed or accessorised in yellow ! Bring your gold coins to make a donation and choose from our yellow merchandise. ALL proceeds go to Cancer Council.

18.01.2022 Next week, as part of Daffodil Day, we will be celebrating our annual 'Yellow Week', raising money for The Cancer council! Celebrate with us by coming dressed in yellow or by purchasing some of the goodies we will have for sale. Your contributions will all go to a very worthwhile cause!

16.01.2022 We have a number of courses and workshops running throughout the upcoming school holiday period! We have NDIS approved Social Skills courses for kids aged 9 -1...2 each Thursday, aimed at teaching older children the skills of communication, inferencing and building independence in their daily environments. We are also running our fully NDIS approved, Independent Living Skills Program each Friday for teens aged 13+ where they can develop social and functional skills. In addition, on Thursdays we will be running Scrapbooking craft classes where your child can have fun participating in Scrapbooking activities to develop fine motor independence and other important skills. 02.01.2022 Recent studies have shown that Arts and Crafts can have wonderful and numerous effects on the developing brain. It can help a child imagine and express themselves, develop self-confidence and self-discipline, interpret and crticially reflect life experiences and problem solve. Arts and Crafts can also help the brain to open up neural pathways which assist them with learning across all other subjects. 01.01.2022 Thankyou to all of our wonderful families who participated in our Yellow Week fundraising by donating gold coins and buying flowers, theraputty and lolly bags! Through your generousity, we were able to raise $409 in donations for the Cancer Council!
