25.01.2022 Today we had our 2020 Covid Safe Christmas Party! We had a lovely day full of terrible jokes, lovely food & great company, thank you to Matt Smith for attending and handing out the Citation Awards. Sadly, Bev and Wendy have decided to stand down from their positions. Bev has served as Captain & Wendy as Senior Deputy Captain for many years and for most, they may be the only Captain & Senior you have known for Catering. They worked as an amazing team and have been wonderful... assets to the brigade. We can’t thank them enough for everything they have done over the years and whilst they will no longer be holding offical roles, we are grateful to still have them apart of our brigade. We farewelled Linden, she is on a new adventure to the Southern Highlands. We wish her all the best! Welcome our new Captain of Catering, Fee and our new Senior Deputy, Cathy. Fee and Cathy have been a dedicated members and deputy’s of Catering for a number of years. Thank you for all you have done to date and all you will do in the future. Congratulations! That’s a wrap from Catering, hopefully we don’t see any of you until well into the new year! Stay safe and Merry Christmas!

Lives and homes will be at risk. A Total Fire Ban is in place for the whole of the state. People in areas of Catastrophic fire danger should avoid bush fire prone areas and identify safe locations in their area such as large towns, cities and shopping centres. 17.01.2022 Farewell and thank you, Shane Fitzsimmons.

16.01.2022 The month of September is an important one for Kenthurst RFS as it is our last month before we enter the bushfire danger period. Usually, during the month we wi...ll hold our 'Get ready Weekend', however, due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to do this. In response, we will be running an online campaign to help the community better understand and prepare themselves for the upcoming season. We will also be sharing how we as a brigade are preparing for the coming months. Our theme for the month will be consistent with our response to Covid-19, "We're all in this together". So throughout this month stay tuned for how we can all better prepare ourselves whilst helping neighbours and friends, especially the 'new family', the elderly or anyone who needs the extra hand!

This HR has been post...poned ** On Saturday the 24th Kenthurst will be completing a burn on Marieba Road & Binalong Road in Kenthurst, assuming favourable weather conditions.
