20.01.2022 Some of you got to meet the beautiful Brooke, my bestie and biggest Hive supporter, when she worked on Reception for us before the first bump at the start of last year! Now onto bump number TWO and after a big pamper sesh the other day (Mums deserve self care too! 16.01.2022 The Hive Beauty has a new part-time face! Help us to welcome Mel! Melanie has always been passionate about beauty, but for a long time she didn’t think of it as a career. So she took the winding path. First she studied professional writing and editing, then she worked in retail. But all this time, she filled her spare time with beauty-related things. It was what made her happy, what fulfilled her. After encouragement from those around her she took the plunge and did her Di...ploma of Beauty Therapy with the Ella Bache College. ‘It still feels like the best decision I’ve made to date,’ she says. Melanie believes there is immense power in human touch, and she couldn’t think of a better way to start a meaningful connection with our guests than with a facial. Mel is passionate about the skin, is incredibly intuitive and also performs treatments across all aspects of salon treatments for guys and gals, from lash tinting to leg waxing to massage. She loves redefining beauty every day, cultivating knowledge, empowerment, and self-love in herself and her clients. Outside The Hive, Melanie does watersports, weight lifting, is deeply supportive of her community, and lives life like a fully engaged and curious human being.
