Around here ‘Culture is King’ and content is a tool for us and our clients to tell our stories and make sure we matter to the right people.... The finest yoghurt (Gippsland anyone?! YUM!) didn’t stake that claim without the right ingredients, and the glue that brings them all together, yeah you guessed it, the cultures! If you’ve made it through the yoghurt chatter, we want to talk to you! The out of the box thinker who sees the acceptable best practices and says ‘hold my beer’ as you show them how it can be done. 01.01.2022 We all use them, especially on Instagram, but what is a hashtag? Technically speaking it's a metatag used on a...boring. The technical info on a hashtag is easily found and we recommend looking into it. For now though, how you can use a hashtag to bring more eyes to your content. Put simply, a hashtag is something that users will be able to use to find your content. A keyword or phrase that they will plug into the search bar. What results are shown will be content that inclu...des the tag. In selecting tags it is important to use a mix of widely, moderately and slightly used, and also including unique brand tags that users will be able to select and see all the content from your general posts or specific campaigns. Avoid using tags like #thattimeidranktoomuch or #thatfeelingyougetwhenyourun, they are far too wordy and not something that users will search. Hashtags are a great way to increase your reach and get new eyes on your products and services. Don't go too overboad and become spammy, the 11 - 17 range is where we've found our sweetspot, and mix up the tags you use so they are relevant and topical to the content you are posting
