This was the first design completed by our newest designer "in-training". 24.01.2022 Opal Pendant This pendant was custom-made using an opal supplied by our customer. This opal also has a discovery story as intriguing as its shape it came out of the wall of a friend’s underground home in Coober Pedy whilst our customer was visiting. We cut and polished the piece of opal (keeping its shape as it was found naturally) before topping it with a sterling silver waved-edge cap and bail.... 24.01.2022 Moissanite Halo Ring This ring was computer-designed and custom-made using some diamonds and moissanite supplied by our customer. 18ct yellow gold ring featuring a 9.5mm brilliant-cut moissanite surrounded by a diamond-set halo.... Moissanite is an imitation diamond it is a durable stone (not as hard as diamond though), has more fire and brilliance than a diamond, and is more refractive, which can make the inside look slightly blurry.

24.01.2022 Sapphire Ring This ring was custom-made using some gold and stones supplied by our customer. 9ct rose gold ring featuring pressure-set marquise-cut sapphire and 4x side diamonds arranged symmetrically across the top of the band.

24.01.2022 Gents Signet Ring This ring was custom-made using gold supplied by our customer. Heavy 9ct yellow gold gents signet ring with raised octagonal top and wide, bevelled band. Old English ‘S’ initial engraved on the top.

23.01.2022 Inner-Ash Band Our customer has generously allowed us to share this very beautiful ring. We are honoured to have been entrusted with such a personal tribute. 7mm wide plain (on the outside) sterling silver band with an inner inlay of dark blue tinted ash resin. This ring appears to be a plain silver band upon first appearance whilst keeping the memorial close and personal to the wearer.

21.01.2022 Blue Channel Ring This ring has been custom-set and decorated by our jeweller, engraver and artist, using a model photo provided by our customer. Originally a plain 6mm sterling silver wedding band, this has been transformed into a creative wedder. The engraving machine was used to cut a channel around the band, which was then coloured using a royal blue UV enamel paint. Colourless cubic zirconias were channel set along the top of the band.

21.01.2022 Care Tip Is your watch look a little dirty? Noticed some dirt in-between the links? Just from wear (whether occasional or everyday), many particles can build-up in tight spaces around your watch such as the links, pins, clasp and back. Not just dirt but also cosmetics like perfume and make-up, oils (both natural and applied) and creams, even some skin can collect in these places.... An easy way to clean this is by giving these places a good scrub with a small soft brush (such as an old toothbrush) to remove any loose debris. Warm soapy water will also help clean these areas as long as you are careful not to submerge the watch, careful to keep the water away from any places where it may enter the watch, such as the back and especially the crown or buttons, and be sure to completely dry afterwards! This simple cleaning tip can help keep your watch looking nice and also to help keep it better wear-working order. It doesn’t have to be done often either! Just every so often you notice a build-up, which will vary depending on where and how often you wear your watch.

Platinum halo ring featuring a 1.65ct emerald-cut emerald and 2x princess-cut side diamonds in a bold claw setting, with diamond-set rectangular halo to frame the centre stone in an emerald-cut-shape.

These were the jeweller’s gift to his beautiful wife, our very own store manager Happy 50th Birthday Linda! 9ct rose gold stud earrings with claw-set ruby and diamond, and leaf/petal decal to represent a blooming flower bud.

07.01.2022 Sapphire Ring Transformation This ring was altered to our customer’s specifications. Since we forgot to take a before photo, basic computer renders have been included to show the difference. 18ct yellow gold ring featuring a light blue-indigo sapphire and side diamonds in a white gold claw setting. We altered the side settings to accommodate larger diamonds from 0.10ct brilliant-cut diamonds to 0.30ct brilliant-cut diamonds.

We have named this opal the kaleidoscope opal due to its many flecks of colour such as red, green, blue and purple. ... Unfortunately, these photos do not show the true colourful beauty of this opal, but we tried our best to show you, using a hand model to try and get the light to hit the stone at the right angles. 04.01.2022 Opal Pendant & Earrings This set was custom-made using some gold and opal supplied by our customer. We built around the existing pendant and made some earrings to complement. Beginning with a 9ct yellow gold pendant featuring a solid tear-drop opal in a fancy claw setting and topped with a seed pearl-set leaf decal, we added a diamond-set cross over the top with hidden bails on the reverse of the ‘X’ arms.... To complement this pendant, we created 9-10ct yellow gold drop earrings featuring tear-drop solid opals to match the shape and colour of the pendant. These are hung on continental hooks featuring a fleur de lis decal on the front and set with a diamond just above the opals. The first image included here shows the pendant in its original form.

The high top of the ring arches into a triangular shape leading to the diamond. 18ct white gold solitaire ring featuring a 2ct round medium-dark blue natural Australia sapphire with hints of green and gold. To accompany the sapphire, two small diamonds are set into a decorative leaf decal in the shoulders.
