13.01.2022 There was lots of childhoods memories. We never asked for new clothes or new shoes but we hoped to have foods on the table. Back then, kids would have some pockets money when they went to school so they could spend on some snacks on they way home. There was only once a week that a little primary school girl got her pocket money so she needed to think carefully what she wanted after school. Outside the school gate there were lots of little mobile snacks bicycles. They had cris...py fried prawn, chive cake, lollipops, meatballs skewers, noodles soups, bo bia (Jicama rolls), and ......etc. There was hard to choose from but she always chose to have chive cake or sometime crispy prawn or Jicama rolls. That was haven for the school snacks and it never been taken away from my memories. 12.01.2022 For the party, I love to serve my guests with warm foods especially in winter. So I cooked at the spot and people come with a smile (I smile too ) and said it smells amazing before the service started. I loved those feelings and wanted to do more. I had to make sure that it’s clean and looking good and so the service was done as I had planned and everyone was happy at the dance floor. So then my job was to clean and packed up all my equipments but not ready to leave until my... client’s kitchen look clean as the original so I leaved with fulfillment and thankful. I heard a word BIRTHDAY for the very first time in my life when I was 10 years old but I only heard of it and never knew what it was because our family never celebrated any birthday before. We’re only focusing on foods on the table next day. Life hasn’t been very easy but it teaches us how to live. ... One afternoon in the university of hospitality, a group of classmates were sitting together and they asked one quiet girl in a corner: When is your birthday? We seem to have never known your birthday? Then that quiet girl responded: Oh, I’ve never celebrated my birthday in my life but every year on my birthday was my thankful day, - I’m thankful that I have a strong mum, a strong family that always walked through all the hard parts that people hard to experience at the same time. - I’m thankful that I have everything, I have both hands can help mum do lots of house work and also holding a pen. - I’m also thankful that I can sit in a classroom while other can’t .....etc Birthday is beautiful and not only about presents, how pretty the decorations but also a thankful day that is even more beautiful because you have a good parents, good sister and brother, friends who always love and care about you come together to celebrate a special day and you are great fulfillment and thankful.
