Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm's annual walk in aid of suicide prevention now takes place all over the globe and this will be its third year in Brisbane after two very successful first outings. The walk takes place at UQ Sports Athletic Centre on Saturday morning with t-shirt distribution taking place at Finn McCools, Fortitude Valley this Thursday evening. 01.01.2022 The Irish Eye met the cast of Troop Productions' The Lonesome West by Martin McDonagh, which has just launched at Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Fortitude Valley. Martin McDonagh wrote and directed the film In Bruges, and this is a chance to see his work live in Brisbane. The Lonesome West is at the Judith Wright Centre, Brisbane 8-18 November 2017.
