Last week, Natalie Nickson shared her story with our students raising awareness about mental health, reducing the stigmas and informing our students that there is always support for them. #Grateful #RUOK

23.01.2022 R U OK? Day was the main focus of Assembly this week. We were fortunate enough to have Natalie Nickson, a BeyondBlue ambassador who volunteered to speak about her battles with mental health. Natalie shared her story in order to raise awareness about anxiety, depression, reduce the associated stigma and encourage people to seek help.

22.01.2022 Stage 4 are harnessing their inner artist! Today, the students learnt how to create and use lino printing. They were able to draw, carve and finally print their own faces as art masterpieces. #Creative #MiniPicassos

21.01.2022 During Stage 5 Living Skills, some students have taken up #photography. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to harness their photography skills that are also applicable in real life such as patience, concentration and creativity. #photooftheday #livingskills

Recently, staff participated in a course on Youth Mental Health First Aid facilitated by Donna Redman. It was an excellent day learning about adolescent mental health and how to support them during a time of crisis.
