15.01.2022 Our Year 7-10 Dance Curriculum students experienced a day of opportunities to explore dance and the industry beyond the classroom and after school life. MAD Dance House is an industry space allowing present and future choreographers such as our TLC Dance students to attend workshops and classes. Yesterday our students were lucky to experience Jackson Garcia in a Hip Hop/Groove workshop. The excursion then moved onto the QUT Creative Industries which provided them more infor...mation around what an academic pathway may look like. Students met Alumni and a current student Kate and Lucy, who hosted a Contemporary and Choreographic workshop. This was a very detailed workshop helping the students explore the use of their bodies with dance. It was an absolute delight to see our Dance Students passionately engage in the variety of workshops these two spaces provided. This excursion helped our students embrace life outside the classroom and made the College extremely proud.
