22.01.2022 Just completed this Aoshima Lamborghini Huracan which was painted using Tamiya TS-52 Candy lime green and an assortment of acrylics from vallejo and mig ammo. First time using my new lightbox I bought online. #HobbyCoSydney#myseriousfun

06.01.2022 #airbrush #cleaning #time This is a nice intro intro cleaning your airbrush. Most are set up in the same way and the basic components are cleaned. For the cleaning I'll be use #sparmax #max3 which has a 0.3mm needle and nozzle purchased at #hobbycosydney #myseriousfun Between colours I will flush my airbrush with water til the spray is clear as I use #acrylics. If using #enamels or #lacquer use the appropriate thinners to flush. At the end of the whole day I will do a full... #dismantle of the airbrush removing components that get very dirty and can cause issues if not attended to before the next time you spray. Tools needed will be airbrush cleaner, small dish, pipette, #cottonbud and cleaning brush. Remove the #needle #nozzle #nozzlecap and clean with #airbrushcleaner. It will remove stubborn paint that have been on the previous components so its nice to do some maintenance after each paint session. See more

02.01.2022 Here are some progress photos of building #aoshima #lamborghini #huracan from #hobbycosydney #myseriousfun . Here is the engine which was painted using an #sparmaxmax3 #airbrush and #handpainting. I started by applying #vallejo #glossblack #metalcolor #primer as a base for the #metallics. I used #migammo flat #aluminium for the body and gearbox, Vallejo model color #chrome for the #exhaust and vallejo metal color #duralium for the rocker covers for a bit of contrast. The ignition plugs we're painted using #tamiya #enamel #semiglossblack
