09.01.2022 On an energetic level, Louise Hay is one of the biggest inspirations for us at Leela. Her legacy goes far beyond the books and writings and into a legacy of transforming the consciousness of humanity through embodying unconditional love at such a pivotal time on this planet. Her movie/documentary is a really powerful and inspirational testament to what she created, and it's an honour and a pleasure to be showing it at the Leela movie night tonight.... I don't think I've actually watched it since her passing just about a year ago, so it's going to be special revisiting it with a group tonight. "If you don't know already know, Louise lived in an environment of constant abuse, rape and violence as a young child. From this starting point she found the strength to rescue her own mother from that environment too, and went on to become a pioneer of modern spiritual healing, and the founder of the largest and most influential spiritual publishing company in the world. Louise's life was like an ice-breaker, bringing the pure power of unconditional love to a western world where it was all but unknown. First through her ground breaking work summarised in " You can Heal Your Life", and then through Hay House which served as a platform for many pioneering spiritual teachers to share this message more widely, with a sense of unity and common purpose. For a time, Hay House was the absolute go to source for most modern spiritual wisdom. Now she has transitioned with the ice truly broken and pulverised, and a fertile ground of spiritual awareness and love around the planet for us all to play in and share our own gifts. As the pioneers including Louise, Wayne Dyer & others have done their work, it's a blessing to have a whole new world of opportunity for us to do ours. Louise knew there was no resting after passing. 08.01.2022 Hey beautiful people, As some of you know we'll be leaving the current Leela Centre at the end of April this year. The exciting news is we've found a new buildi...ng close by that would be perfect, and we'd love to move into!! Lora and I feel this new place will be an amazing home for Leela, and the perfect platform to help grow and expand love in Sydney. We've been talking to the agent, and he's said there's a good chance we could get confirmation on Monday or Tuesday. Fingers crossed!!l lol xo If we do get confirmation we'll need to do a bit of fundraising to cover some of the moving and building costs, and we'll be super excited for a new era for Leela. We'll also start taking bookings as soon as we know when we'll actually be able to open, which we hope will be the start of May.
