If you want some inspo on what to make, keep reading This week on my meal plan.. Mexican Sweet Potatoes This is basically a jacket sweet potato, cut open and filled with a mix of beans cooked in a tomato based sauce with oregano, cumin, coriander, paprika, onion flakes, garlic powder, chilli, salt and pepper. Then I put some finely chopped cherry tomatoes with some shredded cos lettuce (adds a fresh crunch), a scoop of guacamole, and some cashew cheese sauce. My little Chef (9 year old) has picked pizza to cook this week, Tallyho Pizza Base, Passata, loads of veg (mushroom, Zuc, Spinach, Onion), drizzled with the Mekhala Sesame and Garlic sauce before putting on the pizza. 1 packed of Tallyho soy burgers, sliced thin to go on the pizza, and top with any cheese you like. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed when I heard that the Zucchinis are finished, and we wont have any for a short while but then absolutely chuffed when I saw the Leb Cucumbers. So delicious and fresh, and exactly what I feel like eating in this beautiful sunshine. I think I will be making another one of my Sushi Salads this week with them. Also the potatoes are looking lovely, beautiful Dutch creams I am going to have to do a roast one night this week, roast up the potatoes, carrots, Swede, Turnips, Pumpkin with steamed broccoli, wilted silverbeet and cauli cheese. I also feel a bit of a platter dinner coming on. Loads of dips, veggie sticks (kohlrabi, carrot, cucumber, celery), some cut up tempeh, a few different kinds of salads, kale, potato, Mexican bean salad, cos lettuce leaves to use as cups for the salad. I do love a platter dinner. It is also very helpful is you have a picky eater in the house, you may find they are more inclined to try new things and eat more if they can just graze from the platter, rather than their meal being picked out for them. Some kind of curry is definitely on the menu.. Mekhala curry paste, coconut milk and a ton of veggies, served over some rice. Easy and so tasty. Pasta night for sure. I have a new Thai Black rice fusilli to try. I am thinking I will put it with a creamy broccoli and rainbow chard sauce. Remember how I said I was teaching my children to cook Well, tonight, by beloved teenager is cooking dinner on her own. Asian stir fry, crispy tofu and soba noodles. winning! Night off. My fruit salad will be looking like loads of oranges, apples, mandarin, grapefruit, banana, strawberries and a squeeze of lemon. Nothing fuels you up better than a beautiful big bowl of fruit salad. I will also be making some more chia pudding and having the fruit salad ontop of it. For snacks, there will be kale chips, chocolate buckwheat granola bites, bliss balls and maybe even some banana bread.. What's on your menu this week? I would love to hear.

To a pot or thermomix.. 400ml plant based milk 40g Tapioca Flour 2tbsp nutritional yeast 1tbsp Veggie Stock Concentrate 2 cloves of garlic Dash of Regans Ridge Olive oil - Speed 4,90c, 7 mins if thermomix. - Whisk gently over medium heat until thick if using conventional method. - Combine then its ready to go. Use a pie maker or a Tart dish, home made pastry or find a store bought one that isnt full of additives and rubbish. See more

19.01.2022 WINTER LEAFY GREENS On Pizza Yum! Silverbeet Rainbow Chard... Perennial Spinach Beetroot Greens Such a great way to get some extra greens in your day. Chop fine and put ontop of the pizza sauce with a sprinkle of salt. Add to the oven for 10 mins to cook, the water escapes and then dries out again in the oven. After 10 mins, add the rest of your ingredients, Cheeze and return to the oven. Enjoy. See more

Gnocchi Pan fried Pasta Nuovo Organic Classic Gnocchi, with sautéed asparagus, garlic, cherry tomatoes, mushroom, spinach, squeeze of lemon and pinch of salt. Curry... Mekhala Curry paste, coconut milk, ton of mixed veggies and jasmine rice with bbq’d flat breads. BBQ Skewers with salad Veg and tempeh on a skewer, cooked on the BBQ and served with a tasty garden style salad. Rice Paper Rolls Tempeh, avocado, cucumber, carrot, radish, loads of lettuce wrapped in a rice paper wrap and served with Original cocomino dipping sauce. Pizza Night Tallyho Farm pizza bases, Ton of veggies, avocado, fresh herbs, and plant based cheese sauce. Miso Noodles. Miso Paste, Asian Veg, Mushrooms, chilli, herbs, tofu and organic Mie Noodles Spelt. Grazing Platter Guacamole, Beetroot Hummus, Mexican Sunflower and sundried tomato dip, Pesto, kimchi, Baby Carrots, Sugar Snap peas, Cucumber, veggie crackers, maybe some nori rolls. 18.01.2022 Burger Night We are trying out a new thing at home at the moment. The kids pick 1 meal a week and they cook dinner, with me there to help. I figured I need to teach them to cook at some point! So may as well start now. Only rule is that they have to cook something different every week (otherwise it will be burgers and pizza every time) So the 9 year old picked burgers. He used Tallyho Farm soy burgers. Mountain Breads instead of a bun.... Put avocado, lettuce, tomato, kimchi, and topped it off with some home made aquafaba Mayo. It was delish. He did well, no injuries, the kitchen didnt burn down. 15.01.2022 Beautiful organic food bringing the family together. So one night each week my kids are picking a meal they want to cook and I am helping them cook it. It was the 13 year olds turn tonight and she wanted to make an Asian veg stir fry with crispy tofu. I was well impressed, it was delish. Firstly she made the sauce. Sauteed brown onions, leek, garlic, chilli, curry powder, sesame oil, tamari, coconut sugar. Then she washed and cut all of the bok choi and put it in to steam with the Broccoli, while that was steaming, she shallow fried in coconut oil, tallyho Farm tofu which had been patted dry and sprinkled with corn flour. Then cooked the soba noodles and popped it all on the plate. Now I know she can cook it... She can cook it always yum! .

These little ones are easy to remove and relocate to the garden or park. My garden at home is a little sanctuary for these little ones. I am always bringing them home

Then I worked out that if you blitz it longer, it goes lush and fluffy. That is definately the key. Now I am hooked. . This gorgeous fluffy creation is the base for my smoothie bowl lunch tomorrow. Dried tomatoes Soaked for 2 hours just to rehydrate slightly. Spring onion Garlic powder Juice from a lemon. Dried coriander Fresh Parsley Pinch of Cayenne pepper Blitz until it looks still chunky but even chunks. Mix 2 Ripe avocado Juice from half a lemon Blitz then stir in Cherry tomatoes Corn (absolute Organics jar) and I also chopped up a tallyho Farm tempeh patty to put in top.
