21.01.2022 Ok, time for me to be real and share what’s on my heart. It’s tougher then ever being a small business. Since the job seeker payment was reduced a few weeks back, myself and so many others in the industry I have spoken with have noticed a massive decline in sales. Sourcing stock is becoming very difficult, workshops handcrafting pieces were closed for many months during lockdown aswell as factories and suppliers, only some are finally up and running and trying to keep up with... the back log of orders. So many small business’s like my own would love to have our shelves full of stock to sell leading up to a Christmas, but we are struggling and don’t know if it’s worth the risk, as we don’t actually have the money to buy stock in the hope our customers will! I’m torn between buying stock in hope I can sell it, or saving the money to support my own family over these tough next few months. If you see something you love, BUY IT! You’re supporting a small supply chain of family run and owned business’s that rely on you to remain open. This Christmas, I hope we can all spend a little more consciously and support small and local (trust me the big guys won’t even notice!)but I promise we will.If you’re experiencing something similar? I would love to hear. With love, Tatiana

01.01.2022 More green time. Less screen time.Beyond excited to now be stocking this quality book! Full of engaging activities for kids aged 2-10 years, 'Your Wild Imagination: nature play activity book for kids' is beautiful, practical and easy to use. You will discover new ideas for outdoor play, and also find ways to bring nature indoors - perfect for those times when you're stuck inside.... 'Your Wild Imagination' includes more than 150 stunning full colour photographs, accompanied by simple and easy to follow instructions. The activities are open-ended, meaning that children can use their imaginations and create dozens of things from one activity prompt. This book shows actual creations made by children and does not encourage all crafts to turn out looking the same. Instead the activities can boost creativity, problem solving and persistence. Nature play also improves fine motor skills, physical strength and coordination. The book allows you to easily adapt the activities to suit your location. For example, if you don't have a pine cone, you can just use what you can find. This also reduces the need for craft purchases, making the activities very inexpensive to implement.
