21.01.2022 So it's fair to say things have been a little hecccctic in my life.....well pretty much since October last year when we welcomed a new baby girl to our little fam bam. The 2 kid juggle is real people....props to all those mummas out there. On the + side I have been spending lots of time with the family during this #isolife and what better place to be doing it than here in the South West.... I have also been really lucky to be in a position to help out some small biz owners with their marketing needs in what has been a really challenging time. I just doing this and the challenges and rewards it brings. I'm also lucky enough to have built some really great friendships along the way. So yeah heccccctic pretty much sums it up, which is why I've been MIA on my own biz page. But this will change as I believe it's important to 'practice what I preach'.....'walk the talk' and all that ...you know Please don't hesitate to drop me a DM or give me a buzz if you have anything you need help with.

Consumer interactions with brands on social media can enable businesses to establish rapport and build a sense of trust with their audience.... What does this mean??? 15.01.2022 LIKES still matter guys, so even though Instagram have rolled out the old 'hide ya likes' change, they still matter and heres a few reasons why: Likes will still help you gauge the relevance of your content to your target audience. More likes mean you’re doing something right. Likes are still factored in as engagement, which is a crucial part of Instagram’s algorithm that determines how high your content will appear in news feeds. ... Likes will still be a good base for potential retargeting in ad campaigns; you can create ad campaigns based on who has recently engaged with a post. So the 'social proof' factor might be gone with the like count, but the comments still remain and can be super powerful in this space.

13.01.2022 I'm excited to be working with these lovely ladies and the board of Augusta & Districts Community Bank Branch. We got lucky last week for our little photo shoot adventure, the sun came out just at the right times, making for some amazing shots of the team. Now it's time time to start telling the story!! The Community Bank model is so unique, returning banking profits back into the local communities they support.... We all have to bank somewhere....right? *well unless you stash your cash under the floorboards or the mattress * so why not make a choice that benefits YOU as a customer + the COMMUNITY in which you live. 06.01.2022 So I'm partial to a good quote, especially on a Monday when I find myself looking for some motivation to kick-start the week. This one fell in my lap.....and damn it resonates, now more than ever! To often I talk to business owners that don't have a clear idea of what their brand stands for which results in a really inconsistent brand story being told.... Invest the time to understand and define your brand story, allow that to flow through to all of your marketing channels and your heading in the right direction. 01.01.2022 I never get tired of getting out and meeting all of the amazing volunteers doing amazing things in our communities. More often than not, people don't even know about the projects that they are working tirelessly on and usually on the 'smell of an oily rag'........a comment I very often hear. The passion and commitment they have for the cause is so admirable! Today I had the pleasure of hearing all about the work that the Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group are doing right ...on our doorstep.......a place we so easily drive straight past on the highway without a second thought. Thousands of these tuart seedlings will be planted to regenerate this space. In 45 odd years this place will be booming, not only with amazing tuart trees but the wildlife that will get to enjoy the fruits of these hard working volunteers labour.
