19.01.2022 Good Evening to all of our valued clients, local businesses and suppliers. It is with an extremely heavy heart and our deepest regrets that as of tonight - ' The Married Couple Event Sevices ', will be shutting down trade for an unforeseeable amount of time.... Due to numerous, unavoidable circumstances; mixed with many, many hours discussing with the team of T.M.C, our local suppliers and businesses; We have come to the unfortunate and incredibly hard decision of entirely ceasing all trade as 'The Married Couple'. As the founder, Owner and Manager of The Married Couple - I began this business for 3 reasons. 1. To work for myself 2. Be able to spend more time with my beautiful Fiancé and 2 young children Finally lucky last 3. To utilize the 14 years of personal experience in Hospitality, Business Management, Retail and past personal business endeavors. My vision was to utilise my experience to offer a service. A service where the client can make one phonecall to organise his or her special day or event. Currently, in comparison, the client would usually have to call and book numerous services to arrange their special day. My vision was to bring together a service that has everything a client needs in one place. A service that will ensure the client, and their guests, will have an incredibly stress free day Due to unforeseen circumstances, red tape and numerous personal life issues; Keeping T.M.C active / continuing trading at this current time - is unrealistic. At all times, we kept our Clients & Business Associates in mind, with their needs & positive relationships as our highest priority. Making this decision has been incredibly tough, as we have built numerous relationships with plenty of incredible people - Whether as Clients or Business Associates ( which have ended up becoming close friends ). One thing is a definite. We WILL be back. We will return stronger and wiser, with hopefully some newly added team members and local businesses. An exact date for when The Married Couple will return, but please keep this page in your liked pages so you are aware of any updates or when we begin to take bookings again! I have just kicked off my freelance business and hold a current registered business name and a.b.n This is my passion and this is where i feel at home!! I travel to you (no travel fee) and service the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay areas. I use high end products such as: Too Faced, NP, Urban Decay, Stila and Billion Dollar Brows- just to name a few I charge a flat rate of $60- this includes natur...al- full face application, photographic and bridal make up application *per person*. For bookings of 2+ people i offer a $20 discount and for 4+ a $40 discount- for pensioners my service rate is $20 *upon providing concession card*. To gain more before and after shots to build my portfolio- i am currently offering my make up service for $25 instead of the standard $60!!!....thats a HUGE near 60% off and a saving of $35!!!
