Financial donations are the easiest way for us to su...pport those in need this way we can purchase the most-needed food items at less than wholesale prices, which extends your donations much further. You can donate online at foodbank.org.au/donate If you do wish to donate food, our Yarraville warehouse is open and collecting donations from 10am 5pm, every day this week. We are located at 4/2 Somerville Road, Yarraville. Items in demand are bottled water, UHT milk, good quality tinned food (with ring pulls), cereals, pantry staples like pasta, plus items like muesli bars that are easy to just grab and go. We are also accepting pet food. Please do not donate fresh fruit and vegetables, razors, medicine, alcohol, bedding or clothing (new or used). At this stage, we do not require additional volunteers. Well put a call out if this need changes. If youd like to register to volunteer in the future, you can fill out a form on our website. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to offer support over the past few days. The community response has been enormous, and we are still working through responding to all enquiries. Try this yummy combination Ingredients: 1 cup (250ml) canned coconut milk... 1 cup (150g) frozen blueberries 1 small beetroot (beet) (100g), washed and grated 1 cup of baby spinach leaves 1/2 a large peeled banana Method: 1. Blend all the above ingredients in a high- powered blender until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding extra coconut milk, if necessary. 2. Serve topped with a little mango, strawberries and chia seeds if you like. ENJOY!
