23.01.2022 I was browsing some photos for our new catalogues and my Google photos showed me this raw, amateur video from 2019 when we were starting to introduce our business. We were so impassioned and excited like having a new baby in the family. Through hardwork and sacrifice it has brought us an unexplained satisfaction. ... It isn't just the monetary side of entrepreneurship but on how we have established ties with our business partners like a distant relative, the personal growth in decision making and how the experience mold us to become more socially responsible and embracing fair trade. We are now one year old but it seemed we are cruising on this journey for a long time. 16.01.2022 We have heard the story about the worst and saddest disaster lately in North and Central Luzon, Philippines. The most horrific of all is when Typhoon Ulysses landed on the 14th of November 2020. The people of Cagayan, Isabela and Tuguegarao were unprepared for the deluge, the entire area was submerged more than 15 ft deep. Typhoon Ulysses left their lands, and livelihood into severe ruins, so many lives were lost, and there are more than 1000 homes shattered. ... In our own little way, with the help of our friends from the Rotary Club of Tuguegarao and our Ilocos weavers, we are going to step up to help them in the best we can. December and January are the coldest season in PH, a blanket is essential especially for the toddlers and infants for protection. Our goal is to be able to give free inabel blankets to 100 or more children who are in the area severely affected in Cagayan. We can't do it all alone by our market sales and pockets, we hope that we can achieve more than 100 blankets so that more children could benefit.
