20.01.2022 On 25 November we didn’t just enjoy great weather, we also enjoyed a special children’s event in the Cave Garden! 75 Melaleuca Park Primary School students from reception to year 3 were given their last instalment of three showbags full of brand new books. A combined effort between this year’s program sponsor, Julian Mattay, the Department of Education, the charitable organisation 'Books in Homes' and Mount Gambier Library saw excited children reading and discussing books th...ey had chosen themselves. This program is in its 6th year and has previously been supported by the Rotary Club of Mount Gambier.
