24.01.2022 I’ve been a little bit quiet on here recently as third trimester is taking its toll! . . This is about the extent of my movement in the last week, lots of stretching, release and light movement. .... . I have been struggling with iron deficiency, shortness of breath and I feel like I have just done a triathlon after a simple 20MIN walk. Its only when you loose something that you appreciate how good it feels to be fit and healthy. But the most important thing is bub is healthy and I will take these changes my to bring a beautiful healthy boy into the world. . . Listening to my body and taking it easy, with plenty of naps, only short walks and stretching out this back. See more

23.01.2022 So throughout my pregnancy I have been working on a few little projects for all my mums to be out there..... . . Super excited to be teaming up with @pregnancywellbeing and their exciting book they are in the process of writing. In today’s meeting/photoshoot we talked all things wellness, Pilates and pregnancy .... For all my mums to be I have realised that there really is a gap in content when it comes to education, fitness and Pilates during pregnancy. So, I have been working hard on filming some content for you in the longest 9month project. . Stay tuned @chloetarahhorder See more

20.01.2022 Transformation Tuesday 12 -> 20 -> 32 weeks pregnant with this growing boy. . . Our bodies really are amazing. With health and fitness always being part of my lifestyle my goals have always been to stay lean and fit. Since starting my journey to motherhood 2 years ago I have had to let that go, allow my body to be subject to hormones, growing a baby, loosing a baby and now growing one again. Sometimes we just have to learn to trust the process and know that our body knows w...hat it is meant to be doing. . . I have loved being pregnant and watching this bump grow each day. Gone are the days of big workouts for me. I have had to listen to my body over the last few weeks and just go with what it’s telling me. Eating healthy and moving this body daily is something that has kept this body feeling good. For all you mummas out there just listen to your body. . . Trust your body, trust the process. Ladies we were born to grow babies See more

17.01.2022 Let’s talk about pelvic stability and pregnancy......there is a myth that relaxin can cause your pelvis to become unstable. Now, if you know how many muscles connect around the pelvis you will soon learn that your pelvis can’t become unstable. Yes things may loosen and your pelvic position may change but there are still plenty of muscles and ligaments there to support your pelvis. . . Working on your pelvic stabilisers like your gluteals throughout pregnancy is key to preven...ting musculoskeletal complications like public symphysis, Sij pain and sciatica. Your gluteals are your powerhouse to providing your pelvis with a strong base as your body changes postures during pregnancy. Keep your gluteals strong with exercises and you can move through pregnancy with the likelihood of less issues. . . So what exercises should I do: Clams Quadraped Bridging Stairs/hill walking Side lying leg lifts Squats . The key is to finding the balance between strengthening and releasing your other muscles as your approach your due date. I know for a fact that my gluteals are pretty active so in these last stages of pregnancy I have stopped any leg work and am working more on releasing and opening. . . Listen to your body as your progress through pregnancy, it will give you signs if you need to move it, strengthening it or rest it. See more

11.01.2022 How good is just walking? . . One thing I have loved during my pregnancy is taking Bailey for her daily walks and getting my 10,000 steps in..... Mother Nature, ocean and cute dogs .... . #34weeks See more

11.01.2022 Mindset and pregnancy! . . We have been fortunate to have taken part in hypnobirthing during our pregnancy which fingers crossed if all goes to plan will help me through labour. .... . Learning to harness my mind, control my breath and deal with what ever this labour will throw at me is something I am working on in the lead up to meeting this boy. . I am a big believer that our thoughts lead to feelings , feelings lead to actions and actions lead to results. So throughout this pregnancy I have been staying positive, looking forward to this birth and knowing and trusting that my body will know what to do. There is no point in putting energy into some of the negative things that can occur during pregnancy as that is only going to promote fear and a change in my feelings. . . To all my mums out there I would encourage you all to check out calm birth or hypnobirthing to prepare your mind for the challenge ahead See more

09.01.2022 Rolling into the last few weeks of pregnancy and getting my swag on, turtle rolls at night to get out of bed, the pregnancy swagger aka waddle, the get my snacks or I will hate you for the rest of the evening and the constant need to pee. . . O and I forgot about the leg cramping at night that feels like someone is tearing into your calf. .... . But, I have two brains, two hearts and a beautiful little human inside of me which I would change for the world and I love watching you roll around in my stomach and move along to music . . #37weeks See more

08.01.2022 Yep still pregnant . I didn’t realise how hard the last few weeks would be until I got here. Imagine entering a race, booking a flight, planning the most exciting day of your life but not knowing when it will come? For someone that likes to be in control like me, or forward plan I honestly feel like this is the hardest part of pregnancy! . PATIENCE ... . . Just sitting here trying to be patient for this little ones arrival. . We are ready for you when you want to make an entrance into this wild world See more

07.01.2022 On this day 2 year’s ago I was gearing up for my biggest fitness event. After setting myself a fitness goal and entering my first triathlon I was then super fortunate to represent Great Britain in my age group at triathlon world championships. It’s safe to say I hahe found my sport and it’s definitely something I want to go back too. . . After one short season I decided that focussing on my biggest goal having a baby was more important. So triathlon and any fitness goal went... on hold as I started the journey to bringing a beautiful child into this work. A journey of infertility, loss, weight gain, mental struggles and hormones. . . The toughest two years of my life but the end is nearly here, this body has grown a healthy baby boy and we are counting down the days till his arrival. I see pregnancy and labour like a big race, it will painful, mental power will be required but ultimately I will get to the end and have that bundle of joy in my arms. . . P.s TODAY would be a good day little man See more
