20.01.2022 We’d like to give a big shout out and thank you to the team at Urban Angels in Nambour for supporting our community with pre-cooked frozen meals. We distribute 150 of these nutritious meals every fortnight to people experiencing food insecurity and financial strain. 19.01.2022 Hope to see you tomorrow for this Free Traditional Tai Chi session with our sista Zhongmin Neilson (known as Shin) at Point Cartwright from 10-11am. You will learn how to relieve your back pain. Join us for morning tea after the session. Please bring your own morning tea. Women born overseas or in Australia welcome. Covid safe event. We will be in La Balsa Park (if you put One on Balsa, Buddina in your GPS you will find us). Children welcome but you will need to supervise them. There is a playground close by.

Volunteer shifts are weekdays from 9am to 1pm and would ideally suit somebody with previous human services experience or a student studying in the field. Blue card and drivers licence is preferred however not essential. The role involves conversation, connection, information, referral and invitation to engage in centre programs, along with distribut...ion of donated food items, frozen meals, toiletries, tea/coffee/toast and supporting access to shower and laundry facilities. 01.01.2022 RangeCare's meal delivery service with a difference! COVID-19 continues to financially impact our local businesses and vulnerable community members. To address ...this RangeCare has decided to offer a pay it forward system that helps both our local businesses and those in need. >SPECIAL : BUY 3 MEALS (preferably from our partners) + 1 MEAL WILL BE DONATED TO A COMMUNITY MEMBER IN NEED! Last month RangeCare donated 60 meals to the Nambour Community Centre. NCC is accessed by 40,000 + people every year and is positioned in the heart of Nambour. Their purposes is to reduce the structural disadvantage that limits wellbeing, and to provide a way up and a way forward for the most socially, culturally and economically disadvantaged and discriminated groups in our community.
