18.01.2022 POSITION VACANT: The Nest at Gundaroo is searching for a part time housekeeper/hostess to work weekdays (@6 12 hours weekly). Full training provided, no former experience necessary. Applicants must have high service and ethical standards, be able to do physical cleaning, and work quickly and thoroughly. Ideally the person found has interest in also taking on future management duties, and if so, would be paid above award wages. As a locally owned, family business, The Nest ...at Gundaroo is proud of a Booking.com 9.5 Award for 2018 and a 2019 Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. We have a number of wonderful locals on staff, including some very productive teenagers. We hope another local person would join us and fit into our team for weekdays. We absolutely loved all aspects of the town especially the local pub. Our villa the Heron has a large open plan with combined kitchen, dining and bedroom. The bathroom was extremely spacious with a walk in shower and deep modern bath. The open fire was an added bonus so too the aircon, Netflix and small kitchenette. "The Nest is also walking distance to all restaurants and the Gundog Cellars. Parking is provided onsite. There is a cafe, supermarket & liquor store next door which makes it all incredibly handy. It’s a 30 minute drive to Canberra."
