25.01.2022 OPENING UPDATE Hi All, We were hoping to open early/mid July, but with the spike in cases and restrictions still at 20 people per room with 4sq distance requirements, we have delayed the opening, again. 24.01.2022 Dont want to cook... Looking to get out of the house. The pub is serving lunch today and tomorrow 12pm until 2pm and dinner tonight 6pm to 8pm. Give the pub a call and secure a table. 23.01.2022 We are making a change to our opening hours from tomorrow... Thursday 3pm til late Friday - Sunday 11:30 am til late... Its been great to be able to serve all the familiar faces and some new ones over these past weeks and look forward to seeing even more of you very soon.

We understand that you are all excited to get back into the pub and have a cold drink and great country pub feed, but with the limit on numbers it is not viable for us to open. 22.01.2022 Hi All, Exciting news with more restrictions being lifted recently. The club Executive will meet next week and hopefully come up with an opening date for the pub. I know everyone is keen to get back into the pub, as we are to also be back serving you, but we have to take lots of factors into account. Once we have a date, we will post it on this page. 20.01.2022 Coolroom Cleanout sale We have some stock that we are looking to sell before we shutdown the pub fridges. The stock is discounted so the sales are to be cash or card strictly. No slab tickets can be used on this stock. No holds..... it's first in best dressed. The sale will run tomorrow (Friday 27th March) from 5pm to 8pm and entry is via the Dining Room door as the bar will not be open. Prices; Beer/Cider slabs $45 6 pack $12... 20.01.2022 We've had a great weekend so far and had plenty of people through enjoying a cold drink and a delicious meal.... Today we are serving lunch 12pm to 2pm and tea 6pm to 8pm. We have had to also set a new specials menu given the demand so far this weekend.... See you at the pub today.

20.01.2022 We are open as normal.... we take the health and wellbeing of our patrons and staff seriously. While the opening hours of the bar and bistro remain unchanged you will notice some changes. We welcome people to call the pub or drop in to order any of our menu as takeaway if you are more comfortable taking the meals to eat. You will notice the tables aren't set with cutlery the staff will bring all cutlery with your meal from the kitchen. Our usual cleaning regime will escalate... to provide as healthy an environment at all times. Staff will frequently be utilising sanitizer and when available we will also have sanitizer available for the public. Also effective immediately meals will not be served in the bar and kept to the dining room where possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation for the time being which is all aimed to ensure we can continue to provide the same friendly environment that you have always enjoyed at the pub See more

While we don't know when the pub will reopen, we put the health and safety of our customers and staff at the front of our actions. It may be frustrating and inconvenient for some people but we will be reopen as soon as it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so. 11.01.2022 An update for our regular visitors who camp at the reserve.... the camping across the river is open only to those with fully self contained vans for the weekend and until restrictions are further reviewed. The shared toilet/shower facilities will be closed under covid 19 requirements. Unfortunately the pub is still closed but we hope to have a decision soon regarding our re-opening.... please stay tuned. Thanks

Trying to keep it going and keeping it easy for all involved to get weekly tips in on time would prove quite cumbersome.
