24.01.2022 Gratitude. I think many can attest to the fact that I have not been the most grateful person in the past few months...swimming 'mental' laps in my head - woe is me, my life sucks etc. And that is not a great place to be in... Back in 2019, I made a decision to sponsor a child - one of the wisest decisions I have made. Why? For the measly cost of a $2 a day, I get to change a little girl's life, I get to see life through her eyes and learn to be thankful for what I have here.... Receiving this letter from her has been a great reminder that we can all make a difference in some way, it may be small to us, but its monumental to them. It is a reminder that I should be gateful for the blessings I have, and the opportunity I have to be a blessing for others. #youmatter #sponsorachild #uganda #beablessing
