24.01.2022 One or our foster carer ran into a lovely couple that wanted to adopt a year ago but realised having a dog with a doggy door they wouldn't be able to keep a kitty safe inside. When they see the foster carer they always ask to see kitty photos especially ginger babies that remind them of there big ginger boy that passed away nearly 2 yrs ago. Lale showed them photos of Figgy and what he is going through at the moment and they said we would like to give you something to help with his care. Lale was absolutely floored when they handed over $100 to help with anything that Figgy needed. To say Lale was a little taken back and had a few tears in the car of the generosity of some people. Thank you again so much from the bottom our hearts.

22.01.2022 Hi there, Gypsy, Mr Meow and Miss Magic here to give Peaches little boy Figgy some encouraging words, we too had a similar problem to you Figgy when we were kittens but we got through it and live a great life with our furever after families. Figgy, we let nothing stop us, our foster mum, the same foster mum you have caring for you gave us the care and support we needed even though the advice given to her was our future was not looking bright, we grew strong and we never looked back and look at us all now! Thank you everyone who helped us find this great life which we all have been in for a while now. Nighty night to you Figgy, nighty night everyone

21.01.2022 From the TNFO Inc. team we hope you all have had the most wonderful day with your family and your pet companions Thank you once again for all of your kind words, positive thoughts and support, this keeps us all motivated and believing in there will be a happy ending for all of the fur kids in our care and the precious lives of the fur kids who are still waiting to be saved. Goodnight everyone

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, Peaches here to give you all an update on myself and my 4 little ones. My babies are 5 weeks old and now running around, I am not really happy with that and our poor foster mummy is coping the brunt of my grumpy mood. My little ones are getting so big now and have started using their kitty litter tray, eating wet food and drinking water, and they still sneak a little drink from me at times too. Little Figgy, which is my only boy is having some problems with h...is front feet and I'm not sure why, we have seen several vets and they are looking at what advice they can give us to help my little boy so he has a happy future. Foster mummy says she has seen this before in her "G" litter of kittens that she raised and cared for back in May last year, they were Mr Meow (Garfield), Miss Magic (Georgie) and Gypsy, they all had a similar problem with their back feet. They are all doing well now, they are active, fit and healthy and show no pain or restrictions from their disability when they were kittens, all these fur kids are just beautiful and I hope my little boy Figgy too can have the same chance at a great life like these fur kids have. The "G" litter were given extra calcium supplementation and they spent a little bit longer in foster care to make sure that they were going to be OK. Figgy is now on extra calcium in his food, and we have tried to put boxing gloves on his feet to help support them and can gain strength and walk properly but they came off so we are trying to work out a different way to support his little feet. As he is growing Figgy is doing much better and not walking so much on his elbows so hopefully with time he gets better movement and strength in his feet. He has no pain and as you can see by one of the videos he loves to play, loves his cuddles and loves to chew on foster mummy's fingers. Figgy will need to stay in foster care for a bit longer than usual as he will need ongoing support and vet care, and later on will need x-rays to gain a better insight to what is going on. As you know TNFO Inc. are passionate about giving every fur kid and especially the special ones like my boy Figgy a chance at a great new life, I would like to ask for your help in becoming a sponsor or by donating a little to help with the ongoing costs for the care of my little boy Figgy, I would be very grateful for any support you can give us. Any donation over $2 we can supply you with a Tax Receipt. Please donate to The Not Forgotten Ones Suncorp Bank BSB - 484 799 ACC - 606 188 443

13.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyoneFrom the team of TNFO Inc. and all the fur kids in foster care with us we hope that you have a wonderful day with whatever your are doing today, and that you get to spend some quality time with the ones you love

13.01.2022 Well what a big day for one of our carers today. Lale was picking up a little one at a Vet Clinic in Brisbane to come stay for a little holiday for a couple of days while his mummy has some sad family affairs to deal with. Lale had a bit of a heads up that there might be a 2 week old being surrendered to the Vet Clinic, mum wasn't doing very well and could not look after him anymore. Well as everyone knows Lale she can't say no, so she was there to pickup one and ended up taking home two. So here is little Charlie, little boy but thinking he might be 2 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks old, a little underweight but he will get lots of love and in a week or so he should be able to go in with Figgy so he has someone else to play with.

12.01.2022 Hi there I am Evee and if you have a minute or two I would like to tell you the story of my journey to my very happy furever after home. Back in 2016 I was living with a small colony of cats in a caravan park in Maryborough Qld. Our days were filled with finding food and a safe place to spend our days and searching for a warm dry place to sleep for the night, I was only around 9 months of age and pregnant, This was a really hard life to live at such a young age, I needed to ...be cautious of people and keep my self safe so I was not a victim to the dangers from living as a displaced homeless cat I was saved by TNFO Inc. from a QLD pound after been trapped by the local Animal Rangers along with 5 other cats, sadly 2 of my colony fur mates never got the opportunity to find a great new life like I did as they were destroyed. On a happy note I gave birth to 5 beautiful and healthy fur babies thankfully in the safety of being in care with TNFO Inc. and I was provided with the best support and health care. All my fur babies found their furever after homes once they were self sufficient and I am so happy that they never had to endure the hardship of homelessness that I did in my young life My hard start to life left me broken and very cautious of the world, I needed a very special person to adopt me as they would have to accept me for being me as I am not a cuddly sit on your lap type of cat, and as I didn’t have the luxury of toys to play when I was homeless I don’t really know what play is all about. Well after close to 4 years of living in foster care with a wonderful lady who thought I would never leave and she had not problem with that but I finally received a very promising adoption enquiry back in June this year, and as they say the rest is history My furever after mumma is the amazing lady and in such short time we have the most loving bond, we were so meant for each other. I spend my days mostly snuggled in her bed, I do come out sometimes and she is still trying to bring out the hidden kitten in me, but the most special thing of all is that she tells me she loves me and I am someone who is very special in her life. Thank you to everyone for helping me to find this wonderful new life that I thought was never going to happen, thank you also to my most amazing special someone that I now call my very own for looking past my insecurities and giving me a chance of being your best fur friend See more

05.01.2022 Massive belated and big thank you for this wonderful donation for our beautiful fur babies in foster care with our organisation. #petstockashmore PetRescue #marspetfood

04.01.2022 The following post is a belated , but massive BIG THANK YOU to Bunnings Warehouse, Hervey Bay Well here at TNFO Inc., we believe the universe works in mysterious ways. Like any Not For Profit organisation we all need help and are always fundraising and what comes with fundraising you might ask?? That is the use of equipment, especially portable fold up tables. Of course all of our fold up tables went to Brisbane in anticipation of a massive big garage sale which had to b...e cancelled at the last minute because of an outbreak of COVID-19 so that left us no fold up tables for an event coming up on the Fraser Coast. Anyway wracking our brains out to what we were going to do and how we could get our hands on a couple of tables, when Admin Angie when one of the AOs from Hervey Bay Bunnings rung her to ask if our organisation could help them out with a problem they have as they know we are so very greatful for anything and are always very recyclable friendly with anything, and u will never guess what they needed help with As we all know Bunnings stores Australia wide run all sorts of DIY classes and guess what they have to replace occasionally different sized fold up tables, and guess what they had for us 18, yes thats right you heard right 18 fold up tables which would have cost close to $1 000 to purchase Well these tables were totally safe to use as Bunnings wouldnt be able to give them to us, the only thing wrong with the fold up tables is they have paint stains on them from where the kids have done DIY classes on, and just not aesthetically pleasing to the eye anymore for them to use anymore, otherwise there is nothing wrong with them but she said she knew it wouldnt worry us So again thank you so very much Hervey Bay Bunnings always for your support and wonderful donation you guys just rock The photo doesnt do justice really because we had already given a couple of tables to another worthy organisation whats the old saying share the love

02.01.2022 Does your fur baby wait by the door for you to come home like young Frankie is doing here?
