25.01.2022 Summer time and the living (ain’t) easy it’s hot, the march flies are nipping away (ouch) and there is an endless amount of work to do. Harvest prep going on . Looking forward to cooking with the new season garlic!

23.01.2022 Probably the most unglamorous part of my day today- bagging and weighing up bags of garlic for Local Produce Ladies I do like to do it myself though and not outsource so my buyers know it is truly paddock to plate- no middlemen here. So I am dreaming in 1/2kg, 1kg, 2kg and 10kg bags at the moment.

18.01.2022 Exciting times.... our garlic is ready to eat . To order either text meg 0437072448 or use Messenger. There are two pick up points this year: Denmark & Swanbourne. If you are further afield, postage is $15.

17.01.2022 We are on the Mackerel Island up north. 39 degrees today meanwhile my sister is keeping a beady eye on the garlic. 3degrees on the Nullaki this morning. Brrrrrrr #nullakipeninsula #mackerelislands #thevenardisland #organicgarlic #wildolivefarmaus

06.01.2022 Bravo Italy. At Wild Olive Farm we donate our excess garlic to a free community supermarket in Midland. Love that those hungry homes get to enjoy beautiful organic local garlic, with love from us. Btw if you are looking to grow your own organic veggies in Perth, this post is from Gaia’s Organic Gardens who put in mine.

04.01.2022 .... & its a wrap.... quite a dramatic end to the season with my last load selling out in minutes but again, another fun, rewarding garlic season. THANK YOU to all our loyal customers who keep coming back & back & back. Apologies to those who I am turning away now. Thanks you Organic on Charles Breadincommon Cafe Fremantle Organics Peaches Fresh Food and all the other eaters & growers who continue to support local, small-scale farmers like us ... Things are pretty tough this week with farmers markets being closed down so do keep popping into the stores, cafes & restaurants who support the regenerative local farmers like us please.

03.01.2022 Never eat sprayed garlic again. Blah. This is the time of year when WA garlic is in season. ALL imported garlic is sprayed with methyl bromide. If that sounds scary, look it up... its even worse. So now is the time to stock up for the year. Leave it on your kitchen bench (never in the fridge) until the growing season starts again (April) Then preserve it in oil, dry it or freeze it. Never eat sprayed garlic again. #WAgsrlic #certifiedorganic #sprayfree #perthgarlic #garliclover #wildolivefarm #supportlocalfarms #perthsprayfree #yum #preservedgarlic @ Nullaki

01.01.2022 Drink water from the spring where horses drink. The horse will never drink bad water. Lay your bed where the cat sleeps. Eat the fruit that has been touched b...y a worm. Boldly pick the mushroom on which the insects sit. Plant the tree where the mole digs. Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself. Dig your fountain where the birds hide from heat. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds you will reap all of the days golden grains. Eat more green you will have strong legs and a resistant heart, like the beings of the forest. Swim often and you will feel on earth like the fish in the water. Look at the sky as often as possible and your thoughts will become light and clear. Be quiet a lot, speak little and silence will come in your heart, and your spirit will be calm and full of peace. Saint Seraphim of Sarov Nature is talking to you, are you listening?
