They will be getting a lot of feedback that crying is not "manly" - parents need t...o be safe people that children can turn to, knowing they will be listened to. If kids can trust us with the little things they will be far more likely trust us with the really big things. Plus validating their big feelings now will develop emotional intelligence which will impact their well being for the rest of their life! See more
