22.01.2022 Its business as usual at The Nut House. No madness and we love our well-mannered and regular customers. For you, we are now excited to announce that new season Coxs Pippin Orange apples have arrived from our boutique Spreyton grower Neville Cornick. Just ate one and it was fantastic. The Nut House is stocked to the hilt with amazing fresh seasonal produce from our local gardeners, market gardens, farms and orchardists, much of it organic, including broccoli, beetroot , cauliflowers and carrots. Our local growers will be there for you through this crisis and your continued health deserves their great products.

21.01.2022 Meet Bruce and Brad, the new owners of Avoland avocado orchards at North Motton, who delivered the first bin of this years crop to The Nut House today. They have just moved from Queensland and are keen to continue the great work of former owners Paul and Maria in supplying the Tasmanian market. This is gratifying to see, especially after losing Tasmanias last mushroom farm at Spreyton to the big guys who want to control our Australian industry. We cant wait till these avocados ripen and taste the creamy unique Tasmanian flavour!

18.01.2022 CV UPDATE We are happy to advise that there are plentiful stocks of fresh local and interstate produce arriving daily at the Nut House. We applaud our staff who are serving our loyal customers and we applaud our customers who are abiding by CV protocol. And yes, we are continuing weekly specials, including bananas which have dropped dramatically in price and are now selling retail for $2.99 kg. Our fresh local organic range is awesome, with broccoli, red and green cabbages as well as red onions.

Even better news, we met the new owners from Queensland today when they delivered the first bin and they intend to keep sales local for the Tasmanian market. Welcome to The Central Coast Brad and Bruce! Taste the Tasmanian difference!! PS: The avocados may take a few days to ripen so buy green and ripen them at room temperature (or the fruit bowl) .

09.01.2022 Local field-grown sauce tomatoes are now at their peak. We are selling 10 kg cases of sun-ripened grosse Lisse tomatoes for $28 a case. Fresh stocks will be arriving midday Thursday. Local Lady in the Snow apples are also available for a few short weeks and juicy local sweet corn is at its peak. The plums are from Spreyton and also will only be available for a short time. How lucky are we on the North-west Coast with such wonderful produce on our doorsteps!!

06.01.2022 Its our annual Clif bar mega sale to introduce the new Chocolate Brownie bar made with organic rolled oats. Boxes of 12 Clif bars are going out the door at $25 or you can buy 2 for $5 or one for $2.95. Orders for boxes must be made by May 28 to secure this deal. Dont forget to throw a couple of bars in the glovebox in case of a breakdown!

Apple Cider Vinegar is good for digestion, breaking down food, boosting your immune system, improving skin complexion, and detoxification. Children love these (the recommendation for children is one gummy a day).
