24.01.2022 It’s almost a tease to see this and not be able to run an event on it! Pleased to show you all the completed surface on the arena upgrade! Funded by the Banana Shire Council this project was all made possible with a grant that was made available to inject funds back into drought stricken communities. Pleased to say that this delivered $92,000 into our LOCAL economy.

20.01.2022 Shoecraft’s plant and Equipment along side Anderson’s have been busy! New mound of dirt coming along nicely after that rain, ready to seat spectators! Sand is coming in and looking a million bucks! All thanks to Banana Shire Council, we now have a safe arena to compete in and on!

09.01.2022 BIG NEWS and we are calling for educated opinions!! We have managed to secure funding to.. wait for it... RE SURFACE the ARENA!! ... So here’s the deal! All material must be sourced and purchased locally, which is great! We are building the new surface on top of black soil so sand is not ideal to lay down first. We will strip about half a foot of topsoil off and then roll to lay the new surface which we would like to go to about 6-8 inches deep. We need to be mindful of all activities that will be held in it. As competitors that compete we’d like to hear what you find great to compete on and is best for your horse etc. OR what you have done in your arenas etc. HIT US!
