25.01.2022 I feel my mindset has shifted alot lately. I realised that I havent been happy for quite a long time now. I didnt feel worthy. I felt I wasnt good enough. That i didnt deserve to get what i wanted. Even that i wasnt going to live to be 50 so why even bother to try if I wasnt going to live to see the results anyway. What really turned it around for me was reading Sharon Pearsons amazing book Ultimate You: Heal, Reclaim, Become. To say It was life changing would be an understa...tement. I finally realised that i was worthy and i did deserve to live. That it was ok to be happy and feel joy. That i deserved to get what i want and have my needs met. I have slowly been stating what i want and need in my relationship with my boyfriend and he is listening. I've been explaining my rules and expectations and he is telling me what he is prepared to meet and what are not realistic and he is not prepared to meet. Hence my rules and expectations around the relationship have changed. I realised to that I had unrealistic expectations of what a relationship should be but now that I'm allowing myself to be vulnerable, have put boundaries in place by stating what I want and need and telling my partner what my rules and expectations are we are getting along much better and the intimacy has increased within the bounds of the social distancing rules. We even have plans to travel together in the near future. I just need to earn and save some money, then we might be able to go on a European cruise or a cruise to New Zealand like we planned to a few years ago but got cancelled cause I started a new job. Since I made the decision to do more of what makes me happy to have more fun and joy in my life I am finding that I laugh more now and have found joy in the little things like a white butterfly in the back yard while i was putting the washing out and a tiny garden lizard whilst i went to check the mailbox. Even hearing the birds chirping had bought me renewed joy. And because of this i feel the quality of my life has improved. Happiness is a choice. One we must make every day. Remember you are not broken. You DO NOT need to be fixed. You are worthy. You do deserve it. You can have what you want and get your needs met. State your boundaries. Learn to say NO when things dont feel right or fit in with your values. Make the decision to be happy. CHOOSE TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT. Be your authentic U and let your true light shine. 20.01.2022 I have had a major challenge to my thinking recently. I recently had a mammogram with breast screen Australia an anomalies was found in my left breast that needs further investigation. So if ever there was a time to put what I have learned into practice this is it. For a few days I continued to catastrophe, mind read fortune tell and run a number of negative strategies through my head. Even thinking my life was over and that I was going to die. What turned it around for me... was seeing everyone's messages of hope and support and also a psychic told me that my life was going to get alot better and that I would be wealthy and find true love after a period of restructuring which I feel that this result is the beginning of. Also I've had good friends tell me that there is no use worrying about something that hasn't happened yet. What I'm interested in is who are your support people? Who can you rely on to be there for you when you need them. Who will love you no matter what? Who is your sunshine in a cloudy day? Who inspires you and makes you want to be your best self? Having support during tough times is essential if we are to get though the tough times and come out the other side. 09.01.2022 Had a major setback in my thinking today. Was trying to do Michelle Bridges set up and show up at home exercise class. Couldnt even make it through the warm up without giving up in frustration and calling myself a no good worthless/useless piece of shit cause I couldnt keep up even with the beginner version of the exercises. So what did I do I put myself away and decided to have a snack instead. There is a lesson in this though. If you havent exercises in forever and sit on t...he couch all day and not move you cant expect to exercise at Michelle Bridges level first off. I need to start with something easier like a 5 or 10 minute walk outside in the fresh air. I also realised I need to have compassion for where I'm at and not expect to much too soon. I need to start slowly and build up gradually not expect to go flat out from the word go. All good learnings for me.
