You were my life my son, The world had not begun the see The caring man you were The virtues in your heart. They didn’t tell you That you would have to sacrifice The life you loved so much, What was required of you Was to obey and march To soldier on to victory Was always your ambition In anything you did Without challenging suspicion Marching side by side With friends you held so dear The passion for your country You carried without fear. The enemy advanced You stood your ground defiantly A notion of true belief Was now your defence And in your naïve mind There was no need for fighting Prayers you did offered To the God all mighty But before the day was over While on your knees to pray They took your life Before the bugle played. 05.01.2022 FOR SIX WEEKS HER MANY FRIENDS WOULD COME VISITING HER at the "PALLIATIVE CARE WARD in ROBINA HOSPITAL" on the Gold Coast bringing shushi, champagne and sweets, laughter was ringing all around, the love of family and friends filled the room for six weeks. Then on this day and time of the 12th OCTOBER 2012 after three years of agony from cancer for her and our family, my beloved daughter DANIELA fell asleep. Daniela slept comfortably lying like Sleeping Beauty in her hospital ...bed for ten days straight WITHOUT eating, drinking, talking or being given pain killers. Daniela opened her eyes on Sunday 21st of October for a couple of minutes, her sister Kelly and her friend, the only people in the room at that time told me what happened: without making any movements or speaking to them, Daniela opened her eyes, smiled looking at the perfect blue sky out the window, turned her eyes toward them always smiling, then they heard my high-heeled footsteps coming up the hospital corridor, with her eyes turned to the door Daniela continued smiled, she then closed her eyes and her spirit left her body just as I was approaching her room. She had often told me that I would never see her leaving me, she has kept her word, her spirit is still with me. This is my last conversation with her on the day just before she fell asleep. See more

03.01.2022 'IF NOT FOR YOU'...eight years ago, my beloved daughter Daniela spread her wings on the 21st October 2012 at 4.44 pm which is the date Daniela entered in her diary eight months before, predicting her passing over. Today the 21st of October 2020, at precisely 4.44 pm (Angel's Time) I placed the full stop on a manuscript of 86,000 odd words that tells the story of why Daniela's spirit visits me in my nights, and how she manifests herself to me, teaching me and guiding me to thi...s day. I titled the story: 'IF NOT FOR YOU' and is the sequel to 'RISE, The Abused Child Of The Phoenix'.
