25.01.2022 Please share! Silky oak hall stand, heavily painted. Needed a mammoth amount of stripping to reveal the some beautiful silky oak grain underneath. (how could anyone paint over that?) Cleaned the feature pressed metal insets and hooks, found some new umbrella drip trays, fixed the mirror, re-polished and waxed.

25.01.2022 Please like and share. Late Victorian Mahogany card table, needed stripping, polishing and some new "burgundy" felt (felt looks red in the picture?) Timber is in great condition with very few dents considering it's age. Beautiful piece

24.01.2022 Late Victorian cedar dressing table mirror. Paint was deep in the grain and in the carvings, but finally got it stripped. French polished just enough to get it to it's original beautiful condition.

23.01.2022 Bentwood piano chair 1900's (rare item) originally seat was caned, then the ply seat was put on around the 20's when the cane failed probably. Upholstery was added later on. The client would've liked the cane back on, but we ended going with the 20's ply seat, much more durable. Stripped and polished up really well.

21.01.2022 Please share! 1930's silky oak hallstand; Dismantled all pieces, stripped the old finish, repaired the umbrella holders on the side. Made a new metal drip tray for one side, repaired the mirror, colour matched one side that was sun bleached, re-assembled everything, polished and waxed. Came up a treat.

21.01.2022 Please share. 1930's-40's silky oak telephone table, very rare still being together as a set these days. Stripped and re-polished back to the original condition.

20.01.2022 Classic old timber plane also found in the same shed as the spirit levels (previous post). Made from arctic beech polished up great and still planes beautifully. Please like and share!

18.01.2022 Please share. Early 1900's hoop pine linen press. First up, removed that horrible door latch. Stripped, repaired some minor damaged sections, repaired the original door lock, re-polished and waxed.

06.01.2022 Please share and like! Good old 1930's silky oak dressing table, just needed stripping and re-polishing with some minor repairs on the drawers. Beautiful condition for it's age.

05.01.2022 Singer treadle sewing machine, needed stripping, veneer repairs and splicing and re-polishing. The machine freed up after being seized for many years. The base cleaned and hand painted for original look.

03.01.2022 Yes followers we're still going well, thanks for all the shares and support, keep it up! Nice little silky oak occasional table with sun bleached, water damaged top. Happy to find the original colour and to bring it back to life.

03.01.2022 1900's pine cupboard/linen press, stripped the several coats of paint off to reveal the original walnut stained hoop pine. Repaired the drawer runners, the lock, and fitted a new handle. Re-finished back to the original look.
