25.01.2022 "I wanted to share my story to show how Little Free Library impacts lives. As a child I grew up on my grandma's farm in Armenia. We were very poor and didn't re...ally have money for books. I would read newspapers to my gran and obviously school books. At 12 years old I moved to the UK and was obsessed with books. Now I'm 35 and not only did I buy a new house, I went on holiday with my friend to VEGAS! We hired a car drove through Nevada, California, Arizona ... one day i saw a little library in California. I took a book and I cried. What a beautiful idea ... I could have really used this as a kid. I came back from my holiday and as soon as I moved I opened up my own Little Free Library. Now I have everyone in the village calls me the library lady and tell me they love the initiative. I love my library." - Steward J. H., Little Free Library #102048, Hampshire, United Kingdom. 23.01.2022 Books of note from August Book Chats The Cook by Wayne Macauley, Lockdown by Laurie R. King, House on Endless Waters by Emuna Elon, and Mammoth by Chris Flynn. Have you read any, what were your thoughts on them?

20.01.2022 Not a rain cloud in sight, and the sun is shining on The Reading Corner Library. A perfect afternoon to take the dog for a walk, or a bike ride with the kids. The Reading Corner is brimming with books to curl up with for the school holidays. There is literally something for everyone... crime, romance, cooking, gardening, learn a language, teen, and kids! Only a few bookmarks left, so I might make you some special ones this week.

18.01.2022 This little guy fluttered into the studio today, should we keep him?

14.01.2022 Thankyou so much to everyone who has donated books to our Little Street Library. We have so many books available, that we are literally booked out. I have a big box of excess donations in the house! While my 8 year old suggests that we need a bigger library, I am thinking in the meantime that I might rotate books between the box and the library every week or so to freshen things up. Please remember you can take as many books as you like. As a community we are supporting literacy for all, and reuse of preloved items. While the library is full, please feel free to ring the door bell and donate to the rotation box. Happy reading

03.01.2022 This looks fun... I'll get the ball rolling. The last book I finished was an action adventure with Jack West Jnr, Pooh Bear, Alby, and Lily... If you are lucky, you may just find this book in the library this week...

01.01.2022 A lovely faerie story about the magic of books and memories. We hope you enjoy it.
