21.01.2022 Wednesday the 29th of July on The Retro Girls SPARK the Dark Tour 2020 you would have found us shaking our groove thing in Wyandra! At The Wyandra Pub of course! Last year we were sooo lucky to meet wonderful Hellen Johnston and what a sparkle she is! We SPARKED the DARK in Wyandra. Hanging solar lights over the welcoming gate of Helen’s Community gathering place. Soooo looking forward to meeting up with Helen & Sharon and performing at The Wyandra Hotel in 2021! Well this time last year on The Retro Girls SPARK the DARK Tour 2019, we where heading to Winton, after Breakfast in Tambo This year on our Retro Tour 2020 We would have performed in Charleville on Thursday 30th & at The Royal Carrangarra Hotel in Tambo on the 31st and tonight in Winton! 18.01.2022 The Retro Girls have meet some incredibly amazing people on our Entertainment journey, one of those was Mr Colin Grey OAM. We meet Colin at The National Vietnam Veteran’s Museum in Philip Island. Colin was a lovely gentleman, alittle naughty or was that us! It was a honour to have shaken your hand. The Retro Girls thank you for your service. RIP Colin Grey

17.01.2022 Today Retro San Dee spent the day on the phone to many of the Residential Care Facilities that The Retro Girls have had the pleasure of entertaining over the last 9 years. We have been Invited into many of your homes & lounge rooms to perform, boogie, giggle, chuckle & be astounded by the various stories of the many residents & staff of various aged care facilities. It’s a tough gig at the moment for all of us. The Retro Girls send out the strength that our music gives us... to the staff who have become our friends, their residents & fellow workmates. THE RETRO GIRLS SPARK the DARK Tour 2019 We met the lovely Sam who was the go to person in Bonalbo NSW She was on the committee at The Bonalbo Bowls Club, where The Retro Girls had everyone shakin their groove thing. Sam also runs the Caravan Park, teaches at the Local High School & who kindly hosted us over the weekend. Here we SPARKED the Bonalbo District Memorial Hall’s Rotunda. As you can see all OH&S regulations were adhered too! Oh...hhh and who knew.......we’d end up driving through Texas & Killarney & Queen Mary would fall over! You have been so tough, harsh, tricky and spiteful, but I forgive you....actually....I gotta cherish you and remember you...for all the lessons you taught me to appreciate little things, all the hopeful lights you shown me to guide my messy mind, all the time you have given me to reconnect with my family and myself and all the challenges for us to build a resilience! Farewell my friend 2020, it was truly the weirdest yet interesting experience of ...all, I gotta say that I am so sorry for hating you at times. Wish you have a good rest now and please take COVID with you!!! Wish us luck for our next journey with 2021!! Happy New Year everyone!
