25.01.2022 Four nights of madness, mayhem and mirth! Proudly presenting the Shenanigans Festival! A series of Variety nights designed to showcase some of Perths best up and coming talent. If you love theatre, music, dance or comedy then these shows are for you! Emceed by the talented (and cuddly) Stephen Platt, your Master of Ceremonies will be your guide through a range of acts ranging from monologues and dramatic scenes through to dance and musical numbers. The shows run over two wee...ks, with the Orange Group performing on Thursday the 11th and Friday the 12th of September. Following in their footsteps will be the Blue Group on Thursday the 18th and Friday the 19th. Are the Orange Group all Oompa Loompas? Are the Blue Group a little bit frostbitten? Only way to find out is to come along and find out for yourself! All the shows start at 7:30pm and this very limited season is being performed in the Drama Workshop at Murdoch University, so make sure you book early as seats are limited! Tickets are $10 a pop with all proceeds raised going to Headspace Fremantle an awesome organisation whom we are thrilled to be able to help out! Kadidjiny Park will be the place to find a bargain at this years Garage Sale Trail, a national event t...hat promotes an important community message focused on sustainability and re-purposing, on Saturday 24 October 2015. For the second year in a row, Kadidjiny Park will be home to a diverse collection of garage sale stalls from community groups, local residents and private sellers. These stalls will be selling unwanted households treasures, with a great diversity of items currently registered (including handbags, cooking books, kids toys, picture frames, and tools), and all of these sellers will be gathering in one amazing spot; Kadidjiny Park. The event will also feature free face-painting and entertainment, as well as Waste Not Roger, the recycling pirate. Running from 10am to 2pm, the Kadidjiny Park Garage Sale is your one spot to find a treasure, and have a fun day out. He co-wrote FIRE for the WA Youth Theatre Company, and often appears in The Big Hoo! Haa!... He was voted sexiest man alive for seven consecutive years from 1997 to 2004 and can spot a bear at forty paces. He can also do a cartwheel and his best two attributes are his bio-writing skills and his modesty.
