24.01.2022 Surprise! I made a cake I used the triple choc layer cake recipe for the cake itself and the buttercream recipe from hip hip hooray - both available on Cookidoo!

21.01.2022 Mr 9 has been asking for lasagna this past week - and of course on my day off it’s a lovely 35 degrees! The joy of the Thermomix means I’m not standing over the pan stirring the mince as it cooks... I can simply follow the guided cooking and get other stuff done while the stirring and hot work is done for me! Then I just need to assemble it and chuck it all in the oven while I go and mow the lawn before the day gets too hot!!! ... I think he should be happy!

19.01.2022 Well this is new!! Mr turning 9 tomorrow has requested an apple pie for his birthday cake! Because ‘mum you make the best apple pies’ Which is awesome considering I’ve never made one from scratch before!... Let’s hope it lives up to the hype!! Haha

LCHF coffee cupcakes are in the oven, and before I make the frosting I figured a batch of keto caramel custard was on the cards (especially after finding some 80% off cream).
