23.01.2022 We are OPEN! Albeit with reduced trading hours and some operating restrictions. Our aim is to to keep all customers and staff as safe as we possibly can. We are following all of the NSW Health Guidelines and know that you will understand that there are some conditions of entry. These conditions will cause some inconvenience however we thank you for understanding. Strict hygiene measures and changes to capacity are there to ensure the health and safety of customers and st...aff. We ask that you use common sense when visiting, ensure that you’re feeling well and maintaining social distancing measures when onsite. 23.01.2022 We would like to say thank you to everyone that has stayed in touch with us and checked in regularly to see if we are doing okay. It’s true that it has been a really tough time for everyone, from our team members to our customers that visit from far and wide and the local community. We hope that everyone is doing okay and that our collective spirits are beginning to lift as we enter the Post Covid 19 era with fewer restrictions on our day to day life. Naturally things wont ...be the same as they were, at least for the medium term but with cooperation and understanding we look forward to a sensational spring and summer. Here at Scarborough Hotel we will of course be guided by the State Government’s decisions on our ability to re open in a viable and meaningful way. We are aiming to be back in full swing as of the 13 July with online bookings available from then. If in the meantime we get the green light earlier we will do our best to mobilise the team and welcome you back as soon as possible. In the event that we can open prior to the 13 July it will be on a first in best dressed basis however, please understand that venue capacity, health protocols and the way we do things may be a little different. 22.01.2022 The Scarborough Hotel is delighted to announce a return to trading as of the 7th June, thanks to the easing of the NSW government restrictions around COVID-19. It’s safe to say that 2020 has brought challenges we could never have imagined, and we’d like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and well wishes during this incredibly difficult time. Naturally, our return to serving delicious food, amazing wine and cracking coffee comes with a few changes to normal operations.... These strict hygiene measures and changes to capacity are there to ensure the health and safety of patrons and staff. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the hotel. 22.01.2022 To our valued guests, staff, suppliers and friends, As we are facing new challenges each day around COVID 19 (Novel Coronavirus), we would like to inform everyone that we are taking extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone that visits Scarborough Hotel. Our first priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all customers and employees. We would like to reassure everyone that we are being as vigilant as we can in this difficult time.... We are guided by NSW Health and the local hygiene authorities and continue to follow all and any of the directions required of us. We would like to reassure everyone that we have taken additional steps to ensure our venue is as safe as it can be. As so many of our guests visit to enjoy our beautiful Seacliff garden that overlooks the ocean and despite the spaciousness of the outdoor dining areas, we have introduced additional precautionary measures to keep our venue safe. Extra cleaning of bathrooms, sanitising of general public surfaces, handrails and furniture is taking place hourly High pressure deep cleaning of outdoor furniture and pathways Hygiene/Sanitation stations present throughout the venue Increased food safety measures for kitchen work areas Encouraging safe distances between staff and guests Any staff showing signs of illness will be asked to isolate and report to NSW health. These standards and operational measures will continue to evolve where necessary as the COVID-19 situation unfolds. 21.01.2022 ROAD CLOSURES HEADS UP For anyone travelling to visit us, please be advised that Transport for NSW is carrying out road works on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Stanwell Park from Monday 15th June. During this work, Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be closed 24/7 in both directions between Lady Wakehurst Drive/ Otford Road and Chellow Dene Avenue. To visit us you will need to go to use Bulli Pass if you’re coming from Sydney. ... The work should be finished by Sunday 9th August. See you soon and travel safe.
