14.06.2022 As many of you will know I (Frances: principle therapist) am also the founder of #WildTalk. Yesterday I was at #volexpo2022 run by Volunteering ACT. This is a big shout out to the other Secret Keeper therapists that volunteered and helped out significantly with the planning, set-up and pack -up of the stall. This was especially meaningful for me as I’m just seven and a half weeks post a hip replacement. Thank you to Roni and Rodney that helped out today with the stall with se...t-up, take-down, and talking with folks interested in also helping out. They also kept me caffeinated and fed. Thank you Spike for picking up the fancy new signs and flyer from the printers and many other WildTalk tasks during his Uni placement. Volunteers are amazing and so are the awesome folks I work with! #NVW2022

20.01.2022 Over the weekend Rodney and Frances underwent the final days of their EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) training. We stayed in Kandos, NSW, in a lovely little house that allowed Fè and ORen to come with us. The local community helped to keep us fed with the largest ‘mixed grill’ ever, great chicken satay. Entertained with cicadas and birds chirping in garden. They kept the sun off us with the delightful hat shop (it looked spectacular at night), and we both discovered the art of a spectacular mullet. ORen slept the days away while Fè paid close attention to the lectures but was hopeless during the practices.
