23.01.2022 Another regular alteration at The Sewing Room is shirt sleeve shortening. Usually everything comes off. The sleeves are cut and then everything goes back on. Just as original

19.01.2022 Finishing off a busy week with a HUGE alteration. Client had her Wedding Gown arrive from Sydney and couldn’t have any fittings due to border restrictions. Inside corsetry needs to be completely remade. Doesn’t fit at all at the moment. Body needs taking in. And a bustle to finish. ... Time to get out my magic wand! See more

18.01.2022 Finished off the day with sparkles! The Sewing Room looks like fairies have been in and sprinkled fairy dust.... everywhere!!!

18.01.2022 Today’s project.... Shortening the hem of an Evening Gown. Only 5 layers!

16.01.2022 It’s getting a bit busy here! I love going to work each day! Meeting new clients, greeting my regular clients and being able to help them make their clothes fit perfectly. It’s always a pleasure and thank you to you all for your ongoing support!

04.01.2022 Well what a wonderful week it has been! Now finally sitting down and designing my new business card! Yay! New Sewing Room..... New Business Card!

03.01.2022 Best part of my day is seeing someone’s face when they try on their garments after I’ve waved my magic wand over them. This cute and much loved little dress was about 7 inches too tight and wouldn’t come close to doing up at the front. So with Nora Jones playing in the background I created a little magic. The happiness on her face was my joy!

01.01.2022 Gorgeous little Bridesmaid Dress came in for alterations this week. Bodice was too long for my young client and also had to taken in. All finished and a nice press/steam ready for the special day.

01.01.2022 Looks like I’m making spaghetti this morning! Making loops to add into back of dress which I’m converting to lace up back.
