23.01.2022 WHERE DO WE START THE PROCESS?? This is a question we get often from clients who dont know where to begin their project. So where is the best place to start? ... A design! We work alongside some of the best designers in Melbourne, if not, the country! The money spent on a well executed and detailed design will bring you 10x the value during the construction phase. Why should you get a design? Heres a few reasons: 1. It will help you compare apples for apples during the quoting stage. 2. It brings you and your Landscaper on the same page and avoids grey areas. 3. It will bring the best "bang for buck" for the whole project. E.g the above photo is of the dead side of the house. The BBQ was shifted out there to open the alfresco area and the lush plants can be seen from 3 rooms inside the house, which has made the clients open their blinds permanently now they have something nice to look at. 4. It provides a document that the building contract can refer to for the project. (Very important) 5. I dont care how creative you are, a designer will always think from an angle of experience and foresee any potential issues. 6. If you think anything has been created in this world without a plan or design in place, you have rocks in your head! You cant even go to Wollies without planing a list of groceries, why would your landscape or house be any different!? 20.01.2022 Amongst all this madness its nice to look back on calmer times! I love this photo of our Hampton project, it captures the size of this massive pool and spa but theres still a lawn area and fire pit! Isolation never looked so good.......

15.01.2022 Nice easy one in Kew with @cos.design and @engleharthomes coming to an end. Just waiting on the letterbox and steel panels and its job done. The boys knocked this one out with ease, after a few months of growth it will look a treat! @ Kew, Victoria

05.01.2022 Be really nice to get out of town for a weekend, think we might need to lock something in @projectbuilt.vic With the weather getting warmer i think a lot of people will be planning a trip away from solitary confinement asap!

04.01.2022 Days like today make me want some poolside space! Who needs 5kms when you have this in your backyard?

04.01.2022 Stage 4 restrictions have got us wanting to be on site more than ever! Unfortunately with these restrictions we are operating at a far lower rate than usual! Fortunately we have great clients, current and upcoming, that have been understanding of the hold ups we face. Luckily we have had a lot of admin work to get into, but jeez the team is itching to get back full swing on site! Its going to be a busy xmas!

01.01.2022 It doesnt matter the size of the space, a well executed design will change everything! This is a very small courtyard we built a few years ago, but @acre_studio managed to squeeze in everything needed! As the property has rear lane access they even managed to incorporate off street parking concrete steppers by @hungrywolfstudio a priceless commodity in Melbourne!
