22.01.2022 At @jumbledonline we are trying our BEST to be BETTER when it comes to the environment......I’m business it can be tricky for many reasons, but we are slowly ti...cking things off our list and every time we do......it’s happy dances all round!!!!! Last year we invested in a roof of solar panels at The Sonic which was a dream of ours ever since we purchased the building .....and 2020 has been about trying to remove plastic from our online orders. We aren’t there yet, but we are moving in the right direction. (Sticky tap is a bit annoying, but we have started some research into our options) We now use compostable shipping satchels (that will soon be thick paper if all goes to plan ) tissue paper, @ranpak_global paper wrap, paper stickers, paper twine, we reuse the bubble wrap that we are sent products in (I know not ideal, but some items need it and it’s a work in progress) and NOW we have my new cardboard shredder from @recyclepack that allows us to transform our cardboard waste from the products that arrive to us into a packing product for our fragile products. I was so thrilled by the number of businesses that reached out to me yesterday about our new cardboard machine (gosh this makes me happy)...........and THEN I was sent this very cute pic of @shes_a_wildflower reusing our Jumbled tissue paper in her pretty posies!!!! 18.01.2022 We were completely blown away by the response to our Robert Gordon collaboration! We are still in shock! We thought that our collection would be a winner, but w...e had NO IDEA that it would all sell out in a couple of days!!! It was a bitter sweet....the range was a huge success, but selling out online meant that we didn’t get to showcase it in The Sonic and let everyone touch and feel the beauty of the range....and OHHHHH I had such plans for styling it up in store with masses of bougainvillea hanging from the ceiling.... BUT never fear, the Robert Gordon family are OH SO kind and they have allowed us to do ONE FINAL batch!!!!! 16.01.2022 We have officially gone OVERBOARD and it makes me OH SO happy! Hello to OVERBOARD our very special-completely-overboard collab collection with the amazing @...bonita_collective crew Jess and I will forever be grateful to Kristian and Stephanie for giving us the opportunity to create the dress and skirt of our dreams! It’s even more special because @jestinyschild painted all of the patterns for these VERY EXTRA creations! All of our fave things on what we love to wear.....flowers, sequins, stripes, crazy crays and oranges! This girl can pretty much DO EVERYTHING and I thank my lucky stars every day that you are by my side....in the same boat....heading in the same direction We then of course needed earrings to work back with our very fabulous outfits .......so we called upon our clever pal @emeldodesign to help us create the perfect pieces x AND then we needed a very OVERBOARD photoshoot......so we called @clancyjob and somehow we managed to float a 70 year old wooden boat upon the Narromine wheat fields at sunset with 2 leaf blowers making golden flag magic! A truely ridiculous and beautifully epic shoot x Love you Clancy Collaborating with Bonita, Emeldo and Clancy on this project has been an absolute highlight this year and it's all available to you from THIS SUNDAY! Designing this range has been an absolute dream co...me true and to be holding it in our hands is the BEST feeling ever!!! Australian designed and made, each piece has been hand painted in the Robert Gordon Packenham studio by Kate, Bel and Sue! These ultra special pieces are super limited edition - once they're gone, they're GONE! In this shoot, Clancy has truly captured the beauty of the bush, and we hope this inspires you to visit the country! We have gone completely and utterly O...VERBOARD - our 'more is more' philosophy has truly come to life as garments! Sequins, ruffles, oranges, flowers, rick rack, stripes and LOBSTERS yes it's extra, yes it's over the top and yes we LOVE IT ALL! Sailing through the wheat fields of Narromine, and photographed by the incredible @clancyjob this is OVERBOARD!
