21.01.2022 The Spiers Centre Childrens Services Team have developed their own Facebook page, its a great way of staying connected and building relationships with your children in the safety of your home while our groups are shut due to social distancing. The team will be posting interactive videos/photos and information for you and your children to enjoy. Its important to our team to stay positive and connected. We honor those such as Mr Doug Rasmussen (pictured) and all the others who served, fought, suffered and died for us and our freedoms. 17.01.2022 Celebrating another successful year at the Grapevine Italian Restaurant in Heathridge with The Spiers Centre Board of Management, staff, volunteers and a very special guest, Joy Coleman and her family. Joy founded the Centre back in 1980 and petitioned local government until they were successful with a Lotterywest grant to build the Centre. Now a great-grandmother, we had the honor of having Joy joining us sharing some of the history and her passion for community was c...learly still so strong - what a great legacy! We also want to thank Steve and his family at the Grapevine Italian Restaurant in Heathridge for their amazing food and service. These guys went above and beyond and thank you for a very enjoyable evening! Its been another great year and we cant thank enough all our supporters and everyone for their hard work and dedication its been a privilege being able to continue Joys legacy supporting our communities and we look forward to continuing in the new year!

14.01.2022 We will be back at the Yanchep Community Centre again tomorrow from 3pm where the City of Wanneroo have setup a recovery centre for those affected by the bushfires The Spiers Centre team will be providing emergency relief and financial support with access to basic essentials and food support to communities impacted by the fires - come down and see the team for support, no appointment necessary.

In the interest of public health and our vulnerable community members, the Centre has been closed to the public with all future appointments via phone/email. ... This includes cancellation of all our playgroups, workshops, evening/weekend groups and walk-in support. We are also unable to accept donated goods at this time. We are currently reviewing services to ensure ongoing support in line with social distancing guidelines and will post future updates. TSCs Social Groups play an important part in helping combat loneliness by providing a place for community members to come together and build connections within their community.
