25.01.2022 Wonderful news from our clients at Blue Mini Cafe Emporium who have been awarded the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia Resilience Grant for their work converting the entire BMC menu online with an expanded selection of locally sourced artisan foods including fresh Peninsula-grown produce and local wine. It's been a brilliant job from Tracey and the team under trying conditions.

25.01.2022 So thrilled to hear the news today that one of our clients in the education sector has been announced as a successful grant recipient of the federal and state government's Capital Building Fund. This makes three out of three for our team in 2020 and a 100% success rate! With a combined value of $3.11 M in tender contracts and grants awarded, these funds provide an opportunity for new services, projects, jobs, and business sustainability.

23.01.2022 So thrilled to hear that we've been successful in securing a positive result for Tracey and the team at Blue Mini Cafe & Catering this week. The competitive EOI bid introduced Tracey's concept for the new healthy eating, destination-style cafe at Rosebud's new Yawa Aquatic Centre; dubbed Elements Eatery. As well as responding to EOI criteria from Belgravia Leisure and Mornington Peninsula Shire, our work also highlighted Tracey's incredible track record as one of the region's most experienced and talented tourism and hospitality managers.

21.01.2022 Some great advice for the writer in all of us: Choosing the right words in the right order could make an enormous difference in conveying an image or an idea, Ginsburg recalled.

17.01.2022 It's certainly welcome news today for all arts, hospitality and tourism organisations (especially Victorian businesses) to have Job Keeper extended a further six months! Bravo to the federal government for listening to industry representatives and continuing to belay this economic lifeline. To find our the details check out the fact sheet attached.

16.01.2022 "The package also includes $11 million for Victoria's tourism industry, with funding to be targeted at the Emerald Tourist Railway Board and other not-for-profit and privately-owned visitor attractions." "Support for the creative industry comes on top of a $16.8 million survival package already announced, bringing the total being delivered into the arts sector to more than $49 million." "The Western Australian Government has also announced a support package for the tourism industry today worth $14.4 million."

15.01.2022 Re-opening and generating cashflow is not the only challenge facing entrepreneurs, planners and managers as restrictions ease - they are also being asked to be vigilant with risk management and think about their team's health and wellbeing as well as patrons. And there's so much business guidance material being put out, that it's difficult to keep track and prioritise what's important. Our suggestion would be to speed read as much as you can, delegate to your team and file those links in your Covid-19 folder to read at the end of day or whenever you get time. Here's an example of one of those helpful docs - put together by The National COVID-19 Coordination Commission about risk management that you can download or use as a conversation starter/guide with your core management team.

07.01.2022 How exciting to hear that the doors of the ‘The Conti’ will open and could be welcoming guests as early as Jan 2021. The new resort style hotel looks to be retaining all the important heritage features of the grand old dame and it’s a timely reminder that; where there’s a will there’s a way! #recovery #confidence #tourism #morningtonpeninsula #heritagetourism #regionalvictoria
